LOPON® defoamers are highly effective solutions for interior and exterior emulsion paints and plasters, silicone resin paints, emulsion silicate paints and plasters, and adhesives. LOPON® E series defoamers are alternatives to silicone and mineral oil based products. HALOX® Corrosion Inhibitors are effective against flash rusting and in-can corrosion, though the benefits of using these products does not end there. Our HALOX® Corrosion Inhibitors are ideally suited for high gloss, thin film, and clear coat applications. They also provide superior synergy when used in combination with inorganic corrosion inhibitors in traditional coatings. To achieve desired performance of your resin system proper selection of HALOX® Inhibitors is essential.

POLYRON® series is a high capacity powder designed for binding calcium and other metal ions with rapid viscosity reduction during the dispersion process.

HALOX® FLASH-X® 330 is a liquid additive that is effective in preventing flash rust and in-can rusting in waterborne protective coatings without the use of nitrites. It is a nitrite-free product that provides excellent flash rust inhibitory performance on various metal substrates and is recommended for use in high-gloss systems. It does not detract from gloss, is easy to use, and can be incorporated at any stage of coating manufacture. Additionally, it can be post-added to any coating system with ease. However, it is important to check compatibility before use, as with any additive.

HALOX® FLASH-X® 330

HALOX® 515 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor for high-gloss (direct-to-metal) coating systems and will provide cost-effective flash rust protection and long-term corrosion protection when used as recommended. HALOX® 515 is also effective for thin film applications (&lt;2 mils). HALOX® 515 is heavy metal-free, nitrite-free, and contains no chromates or phosphates. Testing with HALOX® 515 has shown improved adhesion at the scribe and good humidity resistance. Testing has also shown HALOX® 515 to be effective as a flash rust inhibitor on weld seams.

HALOX® BW-191 is a white, non-refractive, corrosion-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. It is recommended for use in most waterborne systems, such as latexes and water reducibles, and due to its lower oil absorption, it can also be effective in anticorrosive high-solids coatings. On the other hand, HALOX® BW-111 is recommended for use in solventborne epoxy systems, both conventional and high-solids.

POLYRON® N NEW is a white, hygroscopic agglomerate dispersing agent that is ideal for emulsion paints, plasters, and adhesives. Its high dispersing effectiveness quickly achieves optimal particle size. It reduces water hardness, deflocculates pigments and fillers in aqueous suspensions, and can help achieve high solid contents in emulsion paints with low viscosity.

HALOX® 515 LFG is a low-freeze-grade liquid organic corrosion inhibitor suitable for high-gloss (direct-to-metal) coating systems. When used as recommended, HALOX® 515 LFG provides cost-effective flash rust protection and long-term corrosion protection. It is effective for thin film applications (&lt;2 mils). HALOX® 515 LFG is heavy metal-free, nitrite-free, and does not contain chromates or phosphates. Testing with HALOX® 515 LFG has shown improved adhesion at the scribe and good humidity resistance. Additionally, it has been proven effective as a flash rust inhibitor on weld seams.

LOPON® DA 401 is a highly effective dispersing agent formulated with middle-molecular-weight potassium polyacrylate. It is specifically designed for use in silicate emulsion paints. By utilizing potassium as the cation, it prevents the introduction of additional ions into the system, thus suppressing efflorescence during the drying process that can occur through the formation of sodium carbonate. LOPON® DA 401 achieves excellent deflocculation results when incorporated into highly filled systems containing inorganic pigments such as titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, and mica. The product possesses high alkaline stability and exhibits strong compatibility with polyphosphates like POLYRON® N, offering very good storage stability.

HALOX® CW-314 is a heavy metal-free, non-toxic, anti-corrosive pigment designed for use in waterborne and solvent-borne protective coating systems. It is particularly suitable for systems where 21 CFR 175.300 approval or compliance with ANSI or NSF standards is required. HALOX® CW-314 is highly effective in improving the infrared (IR) reflectance and thermal emissivity of elastomeric roof coatings. It enhances the total solar reflectance (TSR) while maintaining dirt pick-up resistance (DPUR) and preventing mildew growth. It can be used alone or in combination with other non-toxic corrosion inhibitors and mineral pigments in the formulation of environmentally friendly specialty paints.

HALOX® CW-22/221 is a white, non-refractive, corrosion-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. It is not recommended for use in immersion or semi-immersion environments. HALOX® CW-22/221 is recommended for use in primer systems based on traditional solvent alkyd technology. It can effectively be formulated into such resins as medium- and long-oil alkyds. HALOX® CW-22/221 is compliant with ASTM D7089, which specifies the requirements for calcium borosilicate pigments for use in paints.

HALOX® Z-PLEX 111 is a corrosion-inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems that is highly versatile and more cost-effective than commercial zinc phosphate. HALOX® Z-PLEX 111 can provide a higher level of corrosion protection than commercial zinc phosphate when used as an equal-weight replacement.

HALOX® 570 LS is a ready-to-use liquid version of our popular organic corrosion inhibitor, HALOX® 570, which requires no dilution. It is designed for use in water-based industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces. It is especially effective along weld seams to prevent galvanic corrosion. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in formulations based on water-based acrylics, epoxy esters, 2-component epoxy, water-reducible alkyds, and water-based polyurethanes. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in both water-based primers and direct-to-metal topcoats. In direct-to-metal coatings, HALOX® 570 LS has a minimal effect on gloss reduction.
