- RC 1950 is specifically designed as a protective sealant during the detail phase of complete elastomeric roof coating restoration work.
- This product is formulated to seal fasteners and seams and penetrations on metal roof systems, seams and penetrations on single-ply membrane systems and fill cracks and voids on older BUR systems.
- In addition, RC 1950 is an ideal all-purpose sealant to quickly and permanently seal leak areas on virtually any roofing system.

- General Application Instructions
- RC 1950 may be applied by heavy brush.
- Apply RC 1950 only to clean, dry, sound surfaces free of loose particles or other foreign matter.
- Base coats must be applied to RC 1950 coated sections within 48 hours to insure proper adhesion.
- Apply RC 1950 at the maximum thickness of 32 wet mils to ensure proper curing.
- Product application should be suspended immediately and our technical service personnel contacted if the results being obtained are less than desirable.
- Coverage Rates
Approx. 750 fasteners per gallon or 150 fasteners per 20 oz sausage tube; 100 linear feet of seams at 4” wide and 40 wet mils per gallon.
- Limitations & Precautions
- Avoid moisture contamination in sealed containers.
- Store in a dry environment at temperatures between 55 - 75 ºF.
- Keep away from heat, open flame or sparks.
- Use only in well-ventilated areas with proper protective equipment.
- Avoid breathing vapor or mist.
