- Instructions for Use
Surface Preparation
New concrete should be allowed to cure for a minimum of 28 days. The concrete must be structurally sound, dry, free of grease, oils, coatings, dust, curing compounds and other contaminants. Surface laitance must be removed. The preferred methods of surface preparation is abrasive blasting. Remove defective concrete, honey-combs, cavities and other defects by routing to sound material.
Mixing Instructions
Mix the 1 gallon container of Part “A” with the 1/2 gallon container of Part “B”. Mix thoroughly with a low speed drill motor and a “Jiffy” type mixer. Mix for approximately 30 seconds. Do not aerate the mix. Do not over mix. Mixed product should be removed from bucket as soon as possible. This will aid in obtaining maximum working life of the product.
Application
This product must be applied immediately after being mixed together. Mix only as much product as can be applied in 20-25 minutes. Cut in edges, corners, doorway openings or anywhere that cannot be reached easily with a roller, do not cut in too far ahead to avoid drying. May be applied with a squeegee or short nap roller (solvent resistant, phenolic core, roller cover). Hint: Remove lint from roller cover by wrapping it with masking tape, glue side to the roller cover.
Coverage
Crystal Clear Epoxy Seal coverage rates are approximate and for estimating purposes only. Surface temperature, porosity, texture and thickness will determine actual material requirements. 200—225 sq ft. per 1.5 gal Kit @ 8 mil thickness.
- Limitations
Do not aerate during mixing. Do not mix or apply unless surface, air and material temperatures are 50°F and rising. Do not apply if surface temperature is within 5°F of the dew point in the work area. Do not store Crystal Clear Epoxy Seal at temperatures below 50°F or above 90°F. Cure new concrete 28 days before application. Crystal Clear Epoxy Seal will yellow upon prolonged exposure to sunlight or high intensity artificial lights.

Safety & Health
- Precautions
When Part A and Part B are combined, the reaction will cause the mixture to heat at a steady rate. If left in the bucket for too long, the resin will begin to “cook off” or gel. Mixture should be applied to the surface to be coated as soon as possible after mixing.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breath vapors. Do not take inter-nally. Do not store in direct sunlight. Keep away from heat and open flame. Use with adequate ventilation.
