Applications & Uses

Mortar, Stucco, Deck Coatings, Marcite Mixes - Add Fast Set liquid accelerator directly to the mixing water for each batch. Do not add fast set directly to the cement. Read label for specific amounts.
Waterproofing Compound (leak stop) - Cut back and down in crack or hole where water is seeping through sufficiently to receive material. Dry mix 8 parts of fresh, Type 1 Portland cement, or high early cement, to one part clean, dry, sharp sand. Take 1½ cups of this mix and add enough Fast Set to dampen. Remove mix from container and kneed in your hands. Mix should be stiff like putty. If mix is thin, add more dry mix. When mix starts to get warm, smear portion of it in the spot that is to be plugged to ensure a good bond. When mix gets hot, jam it in place and apply steady pressure with a cloth or wood block for 30 seconds.
