J. Allcock & Sons FKM Crumbs

J. Allcock & Sons FKM Crumbs is made by ambient grinding, using specialized machinery, of selected FKM waste. The machinery used enables much finer grades to be produced. Electron microscopy shows the miniscule particles to be “torn” rather than just “cut”. This ensures maximum combination with virgin compound and excellent retention of properties.

Uses

Our FKM crumb can be used as a cost controller, and will impart some improvement in properties, to virgin FKM compounds. If used at the same %age addition as the legitimate waste of the product i.e. sprue, runners, flash, It can produce virtually waste free costings and be environmentally sound.

How to Use

Use as a direct addition to the FKM compound before vulcanisation. Low %age additions can be used to offset waste %age. Much larger additions can be used without serious loss of physical properties.
