It is u sed as a catalyst for polyester chips and PTA production. It is also used in various reactions such as oxid ation,synthesis and polymerization of vinyl esters.It can also be used for leather tanning and dishwashing tablets, used as a desiccant for paints,coatings,printing and dyeing mordants,feed additives,etc.
