Sodium Hexametaphosphate is colorless transparent flake like foliated glass or float sand crystalline powder. It’s easily soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvent such as ethanol and ether. It absorbs moisture easily. When put in air, it could slowly absorb moisture and turn into viscose-like substance. Aqueous solution could react with metal ions such as Calcium, Magnesium, to form complex compound. Melting point is 616℃ (decompose). Relative density is 2.484g/cm3 (20℃). It is used as quality improver, pH regulator, chelating agent, binder and swelling agent. It’s also used to stabilize natural pigment in beans, fruit vegetable cans and bean stuffing; to emulsify fat in canned meat. For canned food and meat product, it could improve their water holding capacity and prevent fat from corrosion. It may clarify beer to avoid turbidity, It’s an excellent water softener without precipitation

Sodium Tripolyphosphate occurs white powder, free soluble in water. Melting point is 622℃. Its’ significant metal ion (Calcium, Magnesium & etc) chelating activity could soften hard water and change suspension into solution. It appears alkalescence, no corrosion. It’s a kind of surface active agent for inorganic substances. It’s also a strong emulsifier of lubricant and fat. Bulk densities are 0.35-0.5g/cm3 (low density), 0.51-0.65g/cm3 (medium density) and 0.66-0.9g/cm3 (high density). It’s used as quality improver of canned food, fruit juice drinks, dairy and soymilk. And it may tender the meat in canned ham and soften the skin of horse bean in canned horse bean. It may also serve as a softener and densifier in foodstuff industry

Potassium Diacetate is colorless or white crystalline powder, alkaline, easily deliquescent, soluble in water, methanol, ethanol and liquid ammonia, insoluble in ether and acetone. It can be used as a buffering agent to control the acidity of food, can be used in low sodium diet as a substitute for sodium diacetate. It can also be used in various processed foods such as meat preservative, instant meal, salad dressing, etc

Sodium Pyrophosphateis colorless or white crystal or white crystalline powder. Anhydrous is white powder. It’s soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol or any other organic solvents. Aqueous solution is alkaline. Its’ chelating capacity of metal ions such as Cu2+, Fe3+, Mn2+ is very active. It is used as quality improver,PH regulator, chelating agent, emulsifier and binder in food industry.
