Applications: SMA is an ideal cleaning agent for electronics manufacturers who want to clean adhesives and pastes in one cleaning process or replace flammable/combustible solvents or alkaline-based cleaners.
Method of Use: Ultrasonic Cleaning

Stencil / Misprint Cleaning - use at a 5-15% concentration diluted in water; temperatures ranging from 100-130°F / 38-54°C; 3-10 minute cleaning cycle dwell time; rinse using water at 100-120°F / 38-49°C; dry using heated forced air.

Defluxing - use at a 5-25% concentration diluted in water; temperatures ranging from 110-130°F / 43-54°C; 2-10 minute cleaning cycle dwell time; rinse using water at 100-120°F / 38-49°C; dry using heated forced air.

Technical Details & Test Data

Material Compatibility: Excellent compatibility with many substrates and materials used in electronic assembly cleaning applications. It is safe on common metal alloys including aluminum during short exposure times. Also compatible with composite materials.
