Araldite® GZ471X75 is a medium molecular weight epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A as solvent cut 75% in Xylene. Araldite® GZ 471 X 75 yields similar performance than Araldite® GZ 7071 X 75 but due to lower molecular weight the compatibility with insoluble, acrylics and alkyd-amino combinations is improved.

Application

Araldite® GZ 471 X 75 is mainly used as modifier in oil-free polyester or acrylic resin system to improve the mechanical and electrical properties of such coatings. The resin solution also can be used to reduce viscosity of type -1 resin systems cured with polyamidoamines for highly filled coatings for marine maintenance and protective coatings applications.
