Razeen® SR 5072 is characterized by excellent batch-to-batch uniformity, good clarity and color, a narrow molecular weight distribution, and good solubility characteristics. Furthermore the formulated coatings are characterized by:

Razeen® SR 5072 is designed for use in high performance coatings systems

Solvent-containing coatings

• Razeen® SR 5072 combined with polyamines, polyamidoamines or their adducts can be used to formulate solvent-containing reactive coatings which can be used at room or elevated temperatures. Coatings of this type are highly suitable for application as adhesive, anti-corrosion or zinc dust primers, top coats or varnishes. The addition of Razeen® SR 5072 to alkyd/amino resin based stoving enamels enhances their quality.

Powder coatings

• Razeen® SR 5072 may be used on its own for high flow systems or with Type 3 or Type 4 resins (Razeen® SR 5013, SR 5004) to improve the flow properties of these systems.
