Scale Free 5200 is intended to be added to CIP tanks to produce a pH 1.0 to 2.0 cleaning solution when blended with permeate quality water. It can also be used to adjust cleaning solution pH during a cleaning evolution, as needed, to maintain desired solution pH.
If frozen, it may be thawed and gently mixed before use.
- Dilution
Add 5 to 10 gallons of Scale Free 5200 per 100 gallons of permeate quality water to create a cleaning solution with a pH of 1.0 to 2.0, depending on your membrane manufacturer’s recommendations.
