Jalpon™ 1760LF is concentrated, thixotropic gelled sulfonates in mineral spirit carriers. Their high solids content allows for easy formulation of reduced VOC solvent-based industrial coatings. Jalpon™ 1760LF is compatible with a wide variety of raw materials and will offer superior corrosion protection and resistance to dripping and flow in finished coatings. Jalpon™ 1760LF should be further formulated by blending with other film formers such as oils, waxes or petrolatum to insure a continuous film and optimum performance. In addition to corrosion protection, they impart good rheology characteristics to paints, rust preventives, and coatings. Jalpon™ 1760LF can also be of value in the dispersion of pigments in highly formulated coatings.

Jalpon™ 1450 is a formulated water-based coating comprised of a highly thixotropic gelled sulfonate, SBR resin, and other film forming and drying ingredients. Jalpon™ 1450 is an excellent waterborne automotive anticorrosion coating for OEM and aftermarket applications. Jalpon™ 1450 should also be considered for any industrial application where solvent is not desirable. The SBR content adds pliability and chip resistance to the coating.

Jalpon™ 1300A is a thixotropic gelled overbased calcium sulfonate in mineral spirits containing waxes and other proprietary ingredients. A variety of solvent-based industrial coatings can be made by incorporating materials such as resins, waxes, asphalts, oils and/or other ingredients. Specialty coatings can be developed which impart superior corrosion protection, flow control, high film build, and sag resistance.

It is designed to allow the easy formulation of solvent-based industrial coatings with a wide variety of raw materials. Jalpon™ 1700HF will offer superior corrosion protection and resistance to dripping, sag, and unwanted flow in finished coatings. Jalpon™ 1700HF is highly concentrated and should be formulated by blending with a variety of film formers such as oils, waxes, resins, and/or petrolatum products. Jalpon™ 1700HF can be used as an additive to improve rheological characteristics in paints, rust preventives, and coatings. Jalpon™ 1700HF also aids in the dispersion of pigments in highly formulated coatings.

Jalpon™ 1470 is a waterborne coating formulated with inhibitors, emulsifiers, surfactants, and other film forming and drying ingredients. When dry, Jalpon™ 1470 leaves a pale amber waxy film that offers a minimum of 500 hours salt spray protection (ASTM B117) and over 2000 hours humidity protection (ASTM D1748). Jalpon™ 1470 is an excellent low VOC automotive anticorrosion coating for OEM and aftermarket applications. It is intended for use as a final preservative coating for equipment and production parts prior to shipment or storage. Jalpon™ 1470 should be considered for any industrial application where solvent is not desirable.

Jalpon™ 1500A is a rust preventive base compound that is comprised primarily of gelled calcium sulfonate and a proprietary wax blend. The combination of high non-volatiles and moderately high viscosity will produce firm and waxy films that performs well under severe conditions, particularly salt environments. This product can be used “as is”, further diluted or formulated, using a variety of compatible coating components.
