Product Uses
  • NA-SUL® CA/W1177 is an excellent rust preventive additive with good water displacement. It is soluble in most mineral oils including Group II and III paraffinic oils. It is specifically designed for use in solvents such as white spirits and kerosene. Rust preventive performance is enhanced by the addition of 10% to 20% oil in combination with solvent. Solubility in specific oils and solvents should always be checked.
  • NA-SUL® CA/W1177 can be combined with waxes and resins for specialty applications.
  • NA-SUL® CA/W1177 is particularly suitable as a dewatering fluid additive. It separates water from oil with no tendency to gel or skin at the organic/water interface. It is also generally compatible with contamination by alkaline cleaners and metalworking fluids. Compatibility with contaminants should be verified prior to use.
