1 of 262 products in this brand
Kraton G1640 E is a clear linear triblock copolymer based on styrene and ethylene/butylene (S-E/B-S) with bound styrene of 31.7% mass. It is supplied from Europe as identified in the grade nomenclature below. Kraton G1640 ES - supplied as a "fluffy" crumb dusted with amorphous silica Kraton G1640 E is used as a base material for compound formulations and as a modifier of thermoplastics. The inherent stability of the midblock suggests the use of this grade in applications that must withstand weathering and high processing termperatures. In addition G1640 E offers the advantages of a high molecular weight polymer at lower melt viscosities.
