Kuraray Poval™ 20-98LA by Kuraray is a water soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. Exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion, low ash (sodium acetate) content, good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. KURARAY POVAL™ 20-98 LA is recommended for adhesive for flooring webs, PSA labels and also in remoistenable adhesives which are employed mainly in the paper processing industry, films applications.

KURARAY POVAL™ LM-25 is an ultra-low saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It can be self-dispersed into water with agitation. KURARAY POVAL™ LM-25 is recommended for use in hot-melt adhesives. Its shelf life is 1 year. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation.

KURARAY POVAL™ 28-99 LA by Kuraray is a water-soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion and low ash (sodium acetate) content. It possesses good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. KURARAY POVAL™ 30-98 by Kuraray is a fully saponified polyvinyl alcohol having varying degree of polymerization and hydrolysis. It possesses good penetration capacity and good adhesion properties. It is an odorless, water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It provides high cohesion, toughness, low electrostatic charging and re-dissolving capacity of the dried film in water. KURARAY POVAL™ 30-98 is designed for use in pressure sensitive adhesive labels. Its aqueous solution can be added to polymer emulsions already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol which affects the extension of the open time, setting speed and rheology. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC.

It exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion, good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. It affects the extension of the open time, increase of the setting speed and influence on the rheology. It is biodegradable and recyclable. KURARAY POVAL™ 17-94 NA is used in producing silicon base paper that are further used as release paper for PSA labels and also in remoistenable adhesives which are employed mainly in the paper processing industry, films applications.

KURARAY POVAL™ 23-88 CM by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade modified with cationic monomer. It exhibits good affinity to cellulose such as pulp & cotton and high adhesion strength to hydrophobic substances. KURARAY POVAL™ 23-88 CM is recommended for use in adhesives.

KURARAY POVAL™ LM 30 by Kuraray is an ultra-low saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It can be self-dispersed into water with agitation. KURARAY POVAL™ LM 30 is designed for use in hot-melt adhesives. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation. The recommended storage life of this grade is 1 year.

KURARAY POVAL™ 32-97 KL by Kuraray is a modified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade with varying degrees of polymerization, hydrolysis and co-monomers. The carboxylate polymer exhibits strong hydrophilic property even at low degree of hydrolysis. Films produced from this grade are soft and flexible at 20°C, 65% RH and under high humidity. KURARAY POVAL™ 32-97 KL is recommended for use in adhesives.
