Terlon™ 3010 A is a linseed-based alkyd. Terlon 3010 A is known for its excellent pigment wetting ability and fast hard-drying properties. Terlon 3010 A alkyd is an essential ingredient in many oilbased printing inks. This alkyd’s ability to develop and maintain color strength with minimal bronzing and to provide flow and leveling where required make Terlon 3010 A an important formulating tool. Terlon 3010 A is very compatible with most ink vehicles and serves to stabilize ink formulations that do not hold up on long runs. Metal decorating inks based on this alkyd bake very fast and form hard abrasion-resistant, glossy surfaces.
