According to a study, about 80% of infection diseases start from surface contact. Bacteria and fungi are everywhere in our daily life, the microbe can quickly reproduce with suitable conditions. It may cause contamination, odors and infectious diseases. Anti-Microbial, Anti-Fungal additives will be integrated into the polymer during the manufacturing process to inhibit the growth and provide protection from microbes.

Sunlight together with heat and oxygen induces reactions of degradation in plastics, causing detrimental effects on their mechanical, optical and physical properties. The result is breakage, chalking and discoloration. Outdoor weathering results in degradation by exposure to the ultraviolet part of sunlight which reaches the earth’s surface, at wavelengths between 300 and 400 nanometres. Environmental factors like temperature, humidity, oxygen, polluting gasses also play an important role.

Rodents and Termites damage several products like power cables, plastic doors, wires, sidings, benches, molded plastic parts, drip irrigation pipes etc. Rodents have the constant urge to bite in order to polish their incisors (front teeth). Ants/ Termites try to break through plastic to access a food source.

Articles made with thermoplastic polymers are often required to have an improved and brilliant white appearance. PP, PA, PET fibers, whether colorless or white-pigmented, can be produced in brighter and more attractive shades by incorporating selected additives based on optical brighteners. Optical brightner masterbatch enhance the whiteness and compensate the original inherently yellowish shade of many thermoplastic polymers.
