Stereon™SR8983 is a solution polymerized linear styrene-butadiene multi-block thermoplastic elastomer. This material has been designed as a graftable rubber modifier that is reacted with bromine and processed into a clean, white powder. The brominated Stereon™SR8983 is then combined with polystyrene to produce a flame retardant foam insulation used in building and home construction.
