Schercemol™ SHS ester is a creamy solid ester that has the unique property to become liquid at a temperature of 30°C and above. It provides texture and body to oil phases or anhydrous products but melts upon contact with the skin, with nice spreading and soft after feel. This benefit makes Schercemol™ SHS ester an excellent texturizer for balms, mascaras and sticks.

Schercemol™ SHS ester is a soft solid at room temperature (25 degrees C). Because the typical melting point is 30 degrees C (86 degrees F), the product may exist as a liquid / soft solid mixture during the summer months. Store in closed containers.Product will freeze at a temperature of approximately 86°F (30°C). If frozen, heat product to 104-122°F (40-50°C) to liquefy. Do not heat above 122°F (50°C) during the heating process. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for additional pertinent information.
