Amidex™ C-CM surfactant is a concentrated and self-preserving liquid version of Cocamide MEA. It combines the foam-boosting and foam stabilizing properties of betaine in a single, easy-to-handle blend. This surfactant offers excellent viscosity-building properties when used with anionics and is particularly well-suited for bath and shower products where stable foam, good wetting, and gentle cleansing are desired. The ratio of amides to betaines is approximately 1:4 on a % solids basis.

Schercemol™ 105 ester is an excellent emollient used in sun care applications to reduce greasiness and as a solvent for solid UV absorbers. It provides a soft skin feel, high spreadability, and high slip, making it suitable for light creams and lotions and as a replacement for cyclomethicone in various formulations.

Silsense® DW-18 Silicone is a 100% active dimethicone copolyol ester. It is a water-dispersible liquid wax ester created by the reaction of isostearic acid with an alkyloxy-modified polydimethylsiloxane. SilSense DW-18 silicone is an easy-to-formulate product that may be used to impart the conditioning benefits of silicone to personal care products without contributing to the greasiness or buildup that is normally associated with water-insoluble silicone fluids.

Sensomer™ 10M Polymer is a polyquaternium-10 conditioning polymer optimized to work in combination with Merquat™ polymers. This highly compatible cationic conditioner is useful in a broad range of hair care, skin care, bath, and shower products. It has a high molecular weight of PQ-10 that improves clarity and compatibility.

Carbopol® Silk 100 polymer is a crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymerized in a toxicologically preferred cosolvent system. It provides excellent suspending capability and stabilizes insoluble conditioning agents commonly used in 2-in-1 shampoos. At low concentrations, it offers excellent flow properties and exhibits synergistic behavior with salt. Designed to optimize product performance at the lowest possible cost, Carbopol® Silk 100 polymer allows for a reduction in surfactant levels and conditioning agents. It also enables the incorporation of non-silicone-based conditioning ingredients, particularly natural oils.

Merquat™ 550PR polymer is a low-acrylamide, non-paraben, aqueous, cationic copolymer that enhances compatibility and clarity in anionic surfactant systems. It is highly substantive and recommended for improving the wet and dry properties of hair care products, as well as enhancing the sensory feel of skin care, bath, and shower products. It provides superior conditioning within the PQ-7 family.

Ultrabee™ WD silicone is a 100% active dimethicone copolyol ester that combines the natural conditioning properties of NF grade white beeswax with the substantivity and surface-active benefits of dimethicone copolyol. It is a nonionic, water-dispersible wax ester that features a light color and low odor. Ultrabee WD silicone is easily incorporated into hair and skin care systems and may be used to impart the conditioning benefits of silicone to products without contributing to the greasiness and buildup that can be associated with silicone fluid. Ultrabee WD silicone is recommended in products including aftershave balms, mild cleansers, makeup removers, creams, and lotions.

Quatrex™ S conditioning agent is a 26% solids, soybean oil-derived, liquid cationic surfactant exhibiting excellent substantivity and conditioning properties. Its anionic compatibility is ideal for formulating true conditioning shampoos. Its superior solubility properties enable many formulation possibilities in sprays, mousses, setting gels, and conditioners.

Chembetaine™ CGF surfactant is a glycerin-free surfactant derived from coconut fatty acids. It is a high purity, low color ingredient that exhibits excellent foam and viscosity-building properties. Similar to Chembetaine™ CAD, it also synergistically provides mildness. This surfactant is well-suited for use in shampoos, facial cleansers, bubble baths, and bath gels.

Schercemol™ DISD ester is a rich and non-tacky emollient ester with excellent wetting and shine properties. It is frequently used as a wetting agent and shine enhancer in lipsticks, lip glosses, makeup, pressed powders, eye shadows, and rouges. In skin care applications, it provides a rich and cushiony application experience with some slip. Schercemol™ DISD ester is also utilized in after-sun care and treatment serums.

Pemulen™ TR-1 polymer is a high-molecular-weight, crosslinked copolymer used as a polymeric emulsifier in oil-in-water emulsions. It is non-ethoxylated and designed to create stable and mild emulsions at low usage levels. Pemulen™ TR-1 polymer is suitable for use in various skin care formulations, providing thickening properties for higher-viscosity emulsions.

Schercemol™ SHS ester is a naturally-derived, soft emollient that liquefies upon contact with the skin. It has excellent spreading properties and is recommended for use in moisturizing lotions, hair pomades and conditioners, liquid make-up, cream powders, lipsticks, and lip glosses. Schercemol™ SHS ester is effective in lipsticks and cream makeup formulations as a viscosity builder, anti-tack agent, and anti-grease agent.

Hydramol™ PGDS ester is a water-soluble emollient that provides moisturization and humectant properties without leaving a greasy residue. It can be used in skin care emulsions, where it delivers emolliency from the water phase upon contact. In hair treatments, its large, branched polymer structure adds body and manageability. Hydramol™ PGDS ester can replace alkanolamides in cleansing systems, providing conditioning, emolliency, viscosity building, and enhanced lather. It is recommended for use in cleansing systems, including hand sanitizer gels, as well as antiperspirant and deodorant applications.

Carbopol® Clear polymer is a versatile and unique polymer created to provide exclusive wet styling textures. It is a crosslinked homopolymer of acrylic acid polymerized in a preferred cosolvent system. It has been optimized to deliver outstanding performance in wet styling formulations. The ability to build high viscosity at lower polymer solids, extraordinary clarity, and extremely fast dispersion times make it ideal for wet styling applications. The polymer has been specially formulated to create distinctive textures by varying the polymer concentration. It shows good compatibility and synergy with Fixate™ Polymers.

Fixate™ Design polymer is a liquid latex emulsion polymer that provides enhanced volume and customizable soft-to-stiff hold to aerosol mousse and non-aerosol hair styling formulations. It offers a range of features and benefits, including a clean and light wet feel upon application. This polymer is compatible with certain cationic ingredients, adding to its versatility. It also provides a desirable, dry feel once dried. Additionally, the dosage of this polymer is easy to adjust.

Carbopol® 980 polymer is a highly efficient rheology modifier capable of providing high viscosity and forming clear gels, hydroalcoholic gels, and creams. It is a white powder composed of crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymerized in a cosolvent system that prioritizes safety. Its non-drip properties make it ideal for applications such as clear gels, hydroalcoholic gels, creams, and lotions.

Glucam™ E-20 humectant is a naturally-derived, multi-functional, mild ingredient that delivers a light, satin-like emollient feel in moisturizing systems. Hydramol™ PGPL ester is a very mild and completely water-soluble ester. It offers excellent clarity in aqueous systems, making it suitable for specialty hair and skin formulations such as facial toners, makeup removers, and hair detanglers. It can also be used in bath and body oils to mitigate oiliness and contribute to blooming effects. Hydramol™ PGPL ester is soluble in oils and effective in reducing the greasiness of heavy formulations. It is also recommended for use in hand sanitizer gels.

Chemoryl™ LG Surfactant is a naturally derived non-ionic surfactant. It generates exceptional foam for a nonionic surfactant, comparable with foam obtained using conventional anionic surfactants. Used as a co-surfactant, it can reduce the total active ingredient content of foaming formulations without altering their performance and is ideal for a wide variety of personal care applications. It is compatible with all classes of surfactants, including cationics. It can be used in conjunction with difficult-to-thicken surfactants, such as sulfosuccinates, to enhance viscosity buildup and also help increase foam volume in low-foaming formulations. Great for use in alkyl sulfate and alkyl ether sulfate-free formulations as a primary or secondary surfactant. Amidex™ LIPA surfactant is a naturally derived ingredient that serves as a viscosity builder, foam enhancer, and stabilizer. It is commonly used in shower gels, shampoos, hand soaps, skin cleansers, and other cleansing products to achieve a tight, dense, and luxurious foam. Amidex™ LIPA surfactant can be used as a replacement for DEA amides and MEA amides at a 75% use level, providing an effective alternative for formulators.

Schercodine™ C amido-amine is a naturally derived, cationic surfactant. It is an effective conditioner in hair and skin care products. It is 98% active as a clear liquid tertiary amine. It is used in pH 3.4–4.4 formulations as a quaternary ammonium salt conditioner. It is used to replace quaternary cationic surfactants in rinse-off conditioners. It provides excellent wet combing and wet sensory. Common protonating acids are lactic, aspartic, citric, and glutamic acids.

Merquat 280NP polymer is also recommended for ethnic hair care, hair color, and depilatories.

Glucam™ P-20 humectant is a naturally-derived, 100% active, propoxylated methyl glucose ether. It is one of the few naturally-derived cosmetic fluids that is miscible with water, alcohols, organic esters, and oils. It delivers humectancy with a lubricious, emollient feel in any product. In alcohol-based systems, Glucam™ P-20 humectant reduces the stinging effect alcohol can have on the skin. Furthermore, it acts as a fixative in fragrance-containing formulations by reducing the volatilization of high notes. The light color and low odor of Glucam™ P-20 humectant do not interfere with the mood the fragrance is trying to convey. It is recommended for use in hair and skin care products.
