- Background
One significant problem faced in using extruded or molded plastics items is the growth of bacteria and microbes on the surface of the items. This problem generally increases when plastic items are used in high moisture and humidity environments that serves as excellent breeding grounds for unwanted microorganism such as bacteria, mold, fungi and mildew. To overcome this problem anti microbial are used to control the build up of bacteria, fungi and algae on the plastic. For effective incorporation of anti microbial in plastics, it should be used in masterbatch form. Keeping this thing in mind, M.G.Polyblends has developed Anti microbial masterbatch based on inorganic silver based anti microbial chemical. It also consists of some specialty additives which helps in proper dispersion of Anti microbial masterbatch in final application to get better and consistent results
- Benefits
- Prevents odor development due to bacterial attack on plastic surface.
- Most efficient anti microbial, anti fungal & anti- algae
- Controlled release on requirement
- Extend useful life of plastics
- Excellent Anti-wash characteristics
