Blue Tansy is a yellow flowering plant native to Morocco near the Mediterranean Sea. This plant gradually disappeared due to excessive harvesting of wild plants. In order to ensure its safeguarding, Malagassi chose to act for the blue tansy by installing crops where we built strong relationships with our farmers. Blue tansy essential oil is produced through the steam distillation of the aerial parts of the plants. It can be identified by its deep blue color resulting from the oil’s naturally high concentration of Chamazulenea, which carries a beautifully rich blue color.
