Our ginger is produced in the central region of Madagascar where the climate is highly favorable for the cultivation of this widely used plant. The process for distilling ginger essential oil is a bit different than other oils. Due to their high density and extreme resistance, the rhizomes need to be crushed into tiny pieces and mixed with water to generate a liquid that is then put through a steam distillation process.
