Tykote 1004 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer designed as a base resin for functional coatings. Tykote 1004 provides high strength and pigment compatibility. This low surfactant containing copolymer can be used to compound functional coatings exhibiting superior water, water vapor, oil and grease repellency. Tykote 1004 exhibits excellent mechanical stability and can be applied to a variety of substrates using many different application methods.
