Rovene 4111 is a high glass transition temperature styrene-butadiene emulsion designed to provide additional opacity in inks, specifically inks formulated with titanium dioxide. Rovene 4111 was designed with a specific particle size that greatly improves the spacing between titanium dioxide particles resulting in increased opacity. Additionally, using Rovene 4111 may allow a formulator to reduce the level of titanium dioxide in an ink formulation.

Rovene 4848 is a very soft non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for the use in a two part spray adhesive for open or closed cell foams and other contact and cold seal applications. Rovene 4848 has fast break characteristics that may allow it to be used in specially formulated one part spray adhesives. Rovene 4848 has found applications in two part foam-to-foam, one and two part fast breaking spray up adhesives, and special contact or cold seal applications in combination with polychloroprene and natural latex. When working with Rovene 4848 it is important to remember that it may be tackified, thickened and blended with other non-carboxylated and carboxylated emulsions. This flexibility allows for the formulating of a wide variety of adhesives with custom performance properties.

Rovene 6091 is a functionally modified vinyl acetate copolymer latex recommended for use as a water-based release coating. As a water based release coating, Rovene 6091 is recommended for use with adhesives exhibiting a high degree of tack. Rovene 6091 is recommended as a blending component for Rovene 6090 to modify the degree of adhesive release. This fast drying, firm copolymer has excellent mechanical stability during application and provides a final coating with easy release. Rovene 8305 is a high gel content, non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion recommended for flooring adhesives. These adhesives can be formulated to require exceptional uncured shear strength, pH tolerance and water resistance. Rovene 8305 can be greatly extened with oils and fillers in high solids formulations. Compatibility with commerical tackifier resins is excellent, as is filler tolerance. Dry films offer excellent water resistance, adhesion and high shear strength.

Rovene 5044 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of permanent label and construction adhesives. It is used in the formulation of permanent label and construction adhesives which are high in peel and tack, and thus require a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 5044 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of tackifiers.

Rovene 6105 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives. It can be formulated into a pressure sensitive adhesives that requires a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 6105 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of dispersed tackifiers.

Rovene 4423 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of permanent label adhesives and flooring adhesives. This polymer emulsion allows for the formulation of permanent label adhesives which are high in peel and tack, yet require a minimum amount of tackifier. However, it provides good tack on its own, thus minimizing the amount of tackifer required. Rovene 4423 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of dispersed tackifiers. Rovene 4423 can also be blended with natural latex for high shear tape adhesives and for use in special contact adhesive applications.

Rovene 4305 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer recommended for non-woven and textile applications that require a soft yet strong backcoating. It gives good adhesion to polyester as well as cellulosic substrates. Rovene 4305 offers outstanding water and solvent resistance especially when formulated with external crosslinkers.

Rovene 4813 is a very soft non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives. Rovene 4813 is a high gel content, hot polymerized latex designed with excellent shear stability and high tolerance for fillers and pH shock. Its soft films yield adhesives with good tack and no adhesion build for use in removables. Rovene 4813 is easily tackified and gives high peel and shear strengths in adhesives and mastics. This product is also sprayable.

Rovene 6130 is a very soft, self crosslinking, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of masking and carton sealing tape adhesives. It exhibits excellent compatibility with a wide range of dispersed tackifiers and may be combined with natural latex to give the desired balance of tack, peel and shear. Rovene 6130 had found wide use in General Purpose paper label adhesives as well as some use in investment casting.

Rovene 6090 is a functionally modified, water-based vinyl acetate copolymer latex. As a water-based release coating, Rovene 6090 is recommended as a blending component for Rovene 6091 to modify the degree of adhesive release. On its own, this fast drying, firm copolymer has excellent mechanical stability during application and provides a final coating with very tight release values. Rovene 6005 is a very soft acrylic, high molecular weight latex emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive permanent label adhesives. Its high molecular weight allows the formulation of permanent label adhesives which are high in peel and tack, yet require a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 6005 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of dispersed tackifiers. Rovene 6005’s high molecular weight also provides improved wet crock of inks printed on nonwoven and textile substrates in the Printing and Packaging market.

Rovene 97982 is a very soft acrylic suggested as a base resin in flexible packaging laminating adhesives. Rovene 97982 provides excellent clarity and UV stability, high tack and peel, and medium shear. Rovene 97982 also has good adhesion to low surface energy substrates.

Rovene 4044 is an APEO free, very soft styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of construction adhesives. Rovene 4044 has high peel and tack, and thus requires a minimum amount of tackifier when used in formulated adhesives

Rovene 4106 is a carboxylated, styrene-butadiene emulsion that can be used to enhance gloss on coated printing papers and paperboard. It is recommended as a modifier for nonwoven and textile binders to increase strength and/or reduce tack as it has a very stiff or 'boardy' hand. It may also be used as an additive to a paperboard packaging barrier coat to improve stiffness and reduce blocking tendency.

Tykote 1019 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a firm hand with excellent film strength properties. It is intended for use as a base polymer in the formulation of barrier coatings for paper and paperboard packaging. Tykote 1019 imparts excellent water resistance, and has good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. Tykote 1019 is recommended for use in paper and paperboard coatings where a high degree of water and water vapor resistance is needed. It may also be formulated into barrier laminating adhesives for paper-to-paper, paper-to-film, and foil-to-paper.
