Rovene 4106 is a carboxylated, styrene-butadiene emulsion that can be used to enhance gloss on coated printing papers and paperboard. It is recommended as a modifier for nonwoven and textile binders to increase strength and/or reduce tack as it has a very stiff or 'boardy' hand. It may also be used as an additive to a paperboard packaging barrier coat to improve stiffness and reduce blocking tendency.
