Rovene 4220 is a non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion recommended for use in formulations directed at contact or cold seal applications. Rovene 4220 can also be used in architectural adhesives including many types of flooring adhesives and special contact adhesives. Rovene 4220 can be used as a polychloroprene and natural latex extender if properly formulated. When working with Rovene 4220, it is important to remember that it may be tackified, thickened and blended with other non- carboxylated and carboxylated emulsions. This flexibility allows for the formulation of a wide variety of adhesives with custom performance properties.

Rovene 6502 is a high solids, acrylic emulsion designed for formulation of PSA and packaging adhesives It can be used neat or blended with a variety of polymer emulsions, dispersed tackifiers, and fillers to yield performance characteristics that meet specific requirements. Rovene 6502 may also have application in vinyl flooring adhesives due to its plasticizer migration resistance.

Rovene 4111 is a high glass transition temperature styrene-butadiene emulsion designed to provide additional opacity in inks, specifically inks formulated with titanium dioxide. Rovene 4111 was designed with a specific particle size that greatly improves the spacing between titanium dioxide particles resulting in increased opacity. Additionally, using Rovene 4111 may allow a formulator to reduce the level of titanium dioxide in an ink formulation.

Rovene 4180 is a low VOC styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer that provides the ability to compound at high solids and in multiple application areas. It is recommended for use in automobile underbody and protective coatings, landscaping mulch coatings, paper saturation, laminations, water resistance coatings, and specialty nonwoven/textile applications.

Rovene 4310 is a medium soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of general purpose labels and construction adhesives. It is used in the formulation of general purpose labels and construction adhesives which provide excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates. Rovene 4310 has compatibility with a wide variety of commercial tackifier resins and has excellent filler tolerance.

Tylac 873 is a carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer emulsion. Addition of 2 to 10 % (dry/dry solids) in anionic asphalt emulsions improves low temperature flexibility and reduces high temperature tack. Tylac 873 also improves strength and chemical resistance. Rovene 9410 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives. It is used in the formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives with a wide variety of tackifiers. Rovene 9410 has a unique balance of molecular weight and styrene content, which makes it ideal for blending with natural rubber and formulation of low temperature adhesives.

Rovene 6005 is a very soft acrylic, high molecular weight latex emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive permanent label adhesives. Its high molecular weight allows the formulation of permanent label adhesives which are high in peel and tack, yet require a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 6005 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of dispersed tackifiers. Rovene 6005’s high molecular weight also provides improved wet crock of inks printed on nonwoven and textile substrates in the Printing and Packaging market.

Rovene 4150 is a medium-firm, self-crosslinking, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion. It can be formulated into carpet and flooring mastics. This versatile polymer is also used in a variety of textile and nonwoven applications. Rovene 4150 offers finished properties of high tensile strength and good water resistance.

Rovene 4423 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of permanent label adhesives and flooring adhesives. This polymer emulsion allows for the formulation of permanent label adhesives which are high in peel and tack, yet require a minimum amount of tackifier. However, it provides good tack on its own, thus minimizing the amount of tackifer required. Rovene 4423 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of dispersed tackifiers. Rovene 4423 can also be blended with natural latex for high shear tape adhesives and for use in special contact adhesive applications.

Rovene 97982 is a very soft acrylic suggested as a base resin in flexible packaging laminating adhesives. Rovene 97982 provides excellent clarity and UV stability, high tack and peel, and medium shear. Rovene 97982 also has good adhesion to low surface energy substrates.

Rovene 6105 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives. It can be formulated into a pressure sensitive adhesives that requires a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 6105 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of dispersed tackifiers.

Rovene 4305 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer recommended for non-woven and textile applications that require a soft yet strong backcoating. It gives good adhesion to polyester as well as cellulosic substrates. Rovene 4305 offers outstanding water and solvent resistance especially when formulated with external crosslinkers.

Rovene 4848 is a very soft non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for the use in a two part spray adhesive for open or closed cell foams and other contact and cold seal applications. Rovene 4848 has fast break characteristics that may allow it to be used in specially formulated one part spray adhesives. Rovene 4848 has found applications in two part foam-to-foam, one and two part fast breaking spray up adhesives, and special contact or cold seal applications in combination with polychloroprene and natural latex. When working with Rovene 4848 it is important to remember that it may be tackified, thickened and blended with other non-carboxylated and carboxylated emulsions. Rovene 6018 is a silanated styrene-acrylic emulsion specifically designed for formulation of construction adhesives such as ceramic tile mastics and carpet adhesives. It provides excellent wet and dry adhesion to inorganic surfaces such as glass and ceramics along with outstanding filler loading capacity for economical mastic adhesive formulations. Rovene 5550 is a self crosslinking carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that as a soft, resilient hand with outstanding strength properties. This binder is specially suited for various textile and coating applications. Rovene 5550 imparts excellent water and solvent resistance, excellent tensile strength and good adhesion to a wide variety of fibers. In contrast to conventional styrene-butadiene emulsions, Rovene 5550 has a much faster cure rate. In addition, it can be easily sprayed, is mechanically stable (at pH 8.5 and greater), and is low foaming. Rovene 5550 is used as a primary binder for nonwoven and textile applications in areas such as bonding wet wipes, polishing pads, filters, and facial scrub pads.

Rovene 9423 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive permanent adhesives. This polymer emulsion allows formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives which are high in peel and tack yet require a minimum mount of tackifier. Rovene 9423 can also be blended with natural latex for high shear tape adhesives. Rovene 6091 is a functionally modified vinyl acetate copolymer latex recommended for use as a water-based release coating. As a water based release coating, Rovene 6091 is recommended for use with adhesives exhibiting a high degree of tack. Rovene 6091 is recommended as a blending component for Rovene 6090 to modify the degree of adhesive release. This fast drying, firm copolymer has excellent mechanical stability during application and provides a final coating with easy release. Rovene 4813 is a very soft non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives. Rovene 4813 is a high gel content, hot polymerized latex designed with excellent shear stability and high tolerance for fillers and pH shock. Its soft films yield adhesives with good tack and no adhesion build for use in removables. Rovene 4813 is easily tackified and gives high peel and shear strengths in adhesives and mastics. This product is also sprayable.

Rovene 8305 is a high gel content, non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion recommended for flooring adhesives. These adhesives can be formulated to require exceptional uncured shear strength, pH tolerance and water resistance. Rovene 8305 can be greatly extened with oils and fillers in high solids formulations. Compatibility with commerical tackifier resins is excellent, as is filler tolerance. Dry films offer excellent water resistance, adhesion and high shear strength.

Rovene 6001 is a very soft, all acrylic emulsion polymer specifically designed for formulation of construction adhesives. It can be used neat or blended with a wide variety of polymer emulsions, dispersed tackifiers, and fillers to yield performance characteristics that meet specific requirements. Rovene 6001 has an excellent balance of peel, tack and shear, allowing the formulation of permanent pressure sensitive adhesives.

Rovene 6090 is a functionally modified, water-based vinyl acetate copolymer latex. As a water-based release coating, Rovene 6090 is recommended as a blending component for Rovene 6091 to modify the degree of adhesive release. On its own, this fast drying, firm copolymer has excellent mechanical stability during application and provides a final coating with very tight release values. When combined with Rovene 6091, release values can be easily tailored to specific needs. Rovene 6130 is a very soft, self crosslinking, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of masking and carton sealing tape adhesives. It exhibits excellent compatibility with a wide range of dispersed tackifiers and may be combined with natural latex to give the desired balance of tack, peel and shear. Rovene 6130 had found wide use in General Purpose paper label adhesives as well as some use in investment casting.

Rovene 5044 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of permanent label and construction adhesives. It is used in the formulation of permanent label and construction adhesives which are high in peel and tack, and thus require a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 5044 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of tackifiers.

BarrierPro 4555 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer of low stiffness. It dries to form a soft but tough film. Its softness makes it excellent for water proofing where films must remain flexible at below-freezing temperatures. Rovene 4021 is a self-crosslinking, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a firm hand with outstanding strength properties. This latex is especially suited for various nonwoven, textile and performance coating applications. Rovene 4021 is an excellent binder where stiffness with toughness and water resistance is required. It also accepts high filler loads of calcium carbonate, clays and alumina trihydrate and still retains excellent tensile strength. Rovene 4021 has the ability to be crosslinked with external crosslinking agents, which will improve the solvent resistance of treated substrates. Rovene 4021 is recommended for applications in textile and needle-punch backcoatings and performance coatings. This hydrophobic emulsion is also recommended as a primary binder for industrial and household floor care and scrub pads as well as for bonding wet wipes, industrial wipes and filters. Rovene 4021 can also be utilized in performance coatings where adhesion to metal surfaces is needed.

Tykote 1019 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a firm hand with excellent film strength properties. It is intended for use as a base polymer in the formulation of barrier coatings for paper and paperboard packaging. Tykote 1019 imparts excellent water resistance, and has good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. Tykote 1019 is recommended for use in paper and paperboard coatings where a high degree of water and water vapor resistance is needed. It may also be formulated into barrier laminating adhesives for paper-to-paper, paper-to-film, and foil-to-paper. Rovene 6027 is an all acrylic latex that may be utilized in various applications such as trade paints, concrete coatings, and other coatings requiring exterior durability and low VOC.

BarrierPro 4551 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion with excellent strength properties, high resistance to liquid water and water vapor, high blush resistance and excellent adhesion to multiple construction substrates. BarrierPro 4551 has excellent stability with dry-add inorganic fillers and sets quickly into a low tack, high strength, water resistant film. BarrierPro 4551 is also a good base polymer for blending with other BarrierPro products to allow a membrane to be custom tailored to a specific strength and/or flexibility need.

Rovene 4176 is a medium soft, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that can be used with a variety of fillers and additives to customize the desired application properties. The dry film exhibits excellent toughness and water resistance. Rovene 4176 has found application use in carpet and cove based adhesives, as well as industrial coatings, flat architectural coatings and low moisture vapor transmission primers.

Rovene 4044 is an APEO free, very soft styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of construction adhesives. Rovene 4044 has high peel and tack, and thus requires a minimum amount of tackifier when used in formulated adhesives

Rovene 4106 is a carboxylated, styrene-butadiene emulsion that can be used to enhance gloss on coated printing papers and paperboard. It is recommended as a modifier for nonwoven and textile binders to increase strength and/or reduce tack as it has a very stiff or 'boardy' hand. It may also be used as an additive to a paperboard packaging barrier coat to improve stiffness and reduce blocking tendency.
