Maruzen Petrochemical TBA is a highly pure product obtained by hydrating isobutylene. It is used as raw material for pharmaceuticals and agricultural chemicals and as a special solvent or the like.

Maruzen Petrochemical DES is a colorless, corrosive, oily liquid that darkens with age and has a faint peppermint odor. Diethyl sulfate is mainly used as an ethylating agent in organic synthesis and in the dye and textile manufacturing. Exposure to this substance results in severe irritation to the eyes, skin and respiratory tract. It is a possible mutagen and is reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen based on evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals and may be associated with developing laryngeal cancer. (NCI05).

Maruzen Petrochemical DIB is a C8 olefin obtained by dimerizing the isobutylene in Fraction C4. It can be used to produce a number of useufl derivatives through an addition, oxo reaction and the like. It is used as a basic raw material for alkylphenol, isononalic acid, rubber chemical, etc.

Maruzen Petrochemical 2-Hydroxyethyl Vinyl ether is used as reactive diluent of UV-curing-coating, raw material of polymer and oligomer (by radical copolymerization and cationic polymerization), washing agent, or raw material of chemicals.

Maruzen Petrochemical H-BPA is a dialchol with a cycloalyphatic structure, obtained by dehydrogenating bisphenol A. It is used as a raw material for various engineering plastics and paints, with its good chemical stability derived from no unsaturated bond in the structure.

It is the most applicable high boiling-point solvent for an aqueous paint, because of the suitability of water.
