Mask-Off Company Protex

Protex 40S is a 4 mil latex saturated paper used for protection of stretched and flat acrylic, plexiglass, polycarbonate, and other plastic surfaces either in flat sheet or formed states.

Protex 10VSVHT-P is a high tack, 10 mil latex saturated paper used to protect glass and acrylic windows, canopies and windshields, as well as bare metals and painted surfaces. The paper is vinyl coated on one side and will withstand more abrasion than thicker paper.

Protex® 10VSVHT-P

Protex 1445 is a 5 mil polyester film with a high tack pressure sensitive adhesive. It may be applied to aluminum or stainless steel under galley and lavatory areas on commercial aircraft to prevent water damage or oxidation of the metal. Excellent protective material for aircraft windows during stripping operations.

Protex 223-5HT is a 5 mil polyester film coated with a very high tack pressure sensitive adhesive. Applied to aluminum, stainless steel or non-metallic floor panels around galley and lavatory areas on many types of aircraft to prevent water damage, oxidation or corrosion of the metal. This product is not intended for fly-away applications.

Protex® 223-5HT

Protex 223-2 is a 2 mil polyester film coated with a very high tack pressure sensitive adhesive. Applied to one side of fiber impregnated or aluminum honeycomb core material to hold in place on vacuum table for milling opposite side. The 2 mil polyester offers more flexibility as needed in some areas.

Protex 20S is a 20 mil latex saturated paper designed for applications where extra protection is needed, and high tack is required. Protex 20S has proven to be excellent in protecting graphite composite surfaces and tooling from impact damage that may result in possible interlayer fracturing.

Protex® 20S

Protex 20V is a 20 mil latex saturated tape which has an external vinyl coating increasing its abrasion resistance. It is used in the protection of acrylic windows, canopies, windshields and certain metal and painted surfaces requiring increased protection. A liner allows product to be die-cut if desired. Protex 20V has proven to be excellent in protecting graphite composite surfaces and tooling from impact damage that may result in possible interlayer fracturing.
