Applications & Uses

Use Level
1% and 5%
Applications

BNX 1000 is ideal for use in adhesives, rubber, resins, and other polymer systems. Compared to solid antioxidants, BNX 1000 provides easier blending and disperses completely, virtually eliminating the particle dispersion problems sometimes associated with conventional antioxidants in powder form. Extensive testing has proven BNX 1000 to be especially effective in the new generation of hot melt and water base adhesive systems, providing increased heat and extended oxidation resistance.

Guidelines for Use

Recommended loading levels range between about 1% and 5% by weight, depending upon the substrate, processing conditions, end use, and other performance requirements. BNX 1000 may be used in combination with other additives, including ultraviolet absorbers and hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS). The exact formulation to be used is dependent on the substrate, performance requirements, and other factors, and should be determined by the user based on testing to simulate actual conditions of use.
