- Can withstand temperature ranges between 140°F (60°C) to -40°F (-40°C).
- Penetrates deeply into any properly prepared surface and develops a vise-like grip. Also achieves powerful adhesion to itself as successive coats weld themselves together.
- Eliminates dusting of unsealed concrete and reduces tracking of dirt and dust particles.
- Does not break down under ultraviolet exposure.
- Brightens appearance of coated surfaces.

- Limitations
Color-Rok Flooring Exterior Top Coat should not be used where exposure to aromatic solvents is possible. Good ventilation is necessary during the application process. Not recommended as a coating for exterior wood surfaces.
- Estimating/Coverage
For coating Color-Rok Flooring estimate 2 gals. of Color-Rok Flooring Exterior Top Coat for each 1-1/2 gals. of Color-Rok Flooring Base Coat. Coverage rates for coating other materials will depend on the surface texture and porosity of the material being coated. For ordinary unsealed concrete estimate 250-300 sq. ft. per gallon on the first coat and 350-400 sq. ft. for subsequent coats.
- Directions for Use
- Preparation: When applying over Color-Rok Flooring allow the base coat with broadcasted quartz granules to set up completely. Then sweep off excess quartz granules. Other surfaces should be physically sound, thoroughly clean, free of oil, grease, and wax, and completely dry.
- Application: Color-Rok Flooring Exterior Top Coat is flammable during application. Extinguish all pilot lights and provide for adequate ventilation. After sweeping off excess quartz granules apply Color-Rok Flooring Exterior Top Coat with a short nap roller or squeegee. Do not leave puddles. Several thin coats are better than one thick coat. Two or more coats are required depending on surface sheen desired. Allow two hours drying time between coats. For other type surfaces apply with a brush or roller like an ordinary paint coating. The first coat will penetrate porous surfaces requiring subsequent coats to develop a sheen. Allow two hours drying time between coats. The final coat should dry at least 8 hours before opening to traffic.
- Clean-up: Use Waterzall Degreaser, Xylene, or Lacquer Thinner for clean-up.
- Maintenance: Color-Rok Flooring surfaces should be cleaned with a Waterzall Concentrate and water solution. Waterzall Concentrate may also be used at full concentrate strength to remove built-up deposits and stains. Color-Rok Flooring Exterior Top Coat may be reapplied to itself.
