MICOROX® FLOORLIFE™ PRIMER is a 77% non-volatile primer designed to improve the adhesion of trowelled, slurry or roller applied coatings to concrete and other substrata. MICOROX® FLOORLIFE™ PRIMER is designed for use under all FLOORLIFE™ 3-part trowel or slurry applied systems. It features low viscosity for deep penetration, long working life, and outstanding adhesion.

Applications

Use MICOROX® FLOORLIFE™ PRIMER as a a base with MICOROXcoat FLOORLIFE™ DF, FLOORLIFE™ CP, FLOORLIFE™ SF and FLOORLIFE™ HTX.

Surface Preparation

Proper surface preparation is the most important part of the application process. Prepare the surface in accordance with the MICOROX® FLOORLIFE™ PRIMER installation instructions. Slabs below grade should be over an effective moisture barrier. Clean and prepare the concrete by mechanical means andlor acid etch until all foreign matter has been removed. A rough surface is desired to provide a good bonding profile.

Coverage : 250 Sq. Ft/Gal.

Note : Coverage and number of coats may vary depending upon the nature of the surface being coated.

Application
  • Insure that the surface to be coated is clean, sound and free of grease, oil and old coatings.
  • Read and understantad all label warnings and the material safety data shecet.
  • Remove ignition sources from work and insure adequate ventilation.
  • Combine one volume of resin and one volume of hardener in an appropriate container and mix for 3 - 5 minutes.
  • Make sure that the area of application is well ventilated and that the air will not vent into any other occupied area.
  • Apply MICOROX® FLOORLIFE™ PRIMER using a brush on roller.
Temperature Limitations

During the installation and cure, surface temperatures of 60°Fto 80°Fare recommended.
