Feeding Directions: Feed to the whole herd or specific groups when additional energy is required, and shifting of energy toward milk fat yield and energy-corrected milk (while maintaining cow condition) is a priority. Typical feeding rate is 0.5 lb. to 0.75 lb. per cow, per day, depending on specific situations and goals.

As always, use caution when feeding distillers, grains and/or oil seeds which are high in rumen-available unsaturated fatty acid (RUFAs) and can lead to milk fat depression (MFD).

FOR BEST RESULTS

Restrict the use of free fats (tallow & grease) to 1.0% or less of DMI.

Restrict the amount of fat from cottonseed, soybeans and corn (DDG) to less than 1.0% of DMI.

Feed EB MERGE HM up to 1.5% of DMI.

Keep total fat concentration in the diet below 7.0% DM, or below 4.5 lb. per cow, per day.
