ShieldSys™ 346 is formulated to provide unmatched utility in wire jacket removal, over-molding, and release due to its high lubricity and non-stick properties.
- Recommended Application Procedure
- Dipping and Flooding – The easiest and most widely used method. A wiper system should be used to strip off excess amounts, ensuring a thin, even coating over the entire length of substrate.
- Spraying – Particularly effective in depositing a very thin coating with excellent adhesion. This system can be used with an automated or hand spray gun.
- Wiping or Brushing – Very effective for coating small amounts of selected areas on a wire or cable.
