Silsoft™ 1215 is a blend of Dimethiconol, a high molecular weight silicone polymer and Cyclopentasiloxane, a low molecular weight volatile silicone. The cyclic silicone acts as a volatile carrier, spreading the high molecular weight silicone uniformly across a surface, and then volatilizing to leave a thin film of silicone. This product offers a number of performance attributes for personal care products, especially a unique smooth, non-greasy feel.
