Mosselman 2-ethylhexyl Lactate (6283-86-9) is the ester of L(+) lactic acid. Lactic acid is produced by fermentation. It is used as solvent for example in agrochemicals, polymer additive or emulsions. It brings good wetting properties, low evaporation rate, good penetration, etc. It is also used as « green solvent » for digital inks and coalescing agent for water based paint.
