Mosselman Hempseed Oil Refined (89958-21-4) is an oil with characteristic flavor and typical green color. Hempseed oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is obtained from low THC seeds of Cannabis sativa. Hempseed is taking benefit of positive image thank to the fact that this crop needs little input of pesticides and appears to be quite environ- mental friendly.

Mosselman Olein O (67701-08-0) is the most important unsaturated fatty acid present in almost all natural fats and oils. It is used as soap base, as polishing compound, in lubricants, in flotation, as surface coating and as intermediate.

Mosselman Evening Primrose Oil Refined (90028-66-3) is a natural source of Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA).

Mosselman Castor Oil First Pression (8001-79-4) is the vegetable oil obtained from the seed of the castor tree “Ricinus communis” It contains a major amount of hydroxy acid.

Mosselman Castor Oil Hydrogenated (8001-78-3) is a white, odorless fat obtained by the hydrogenation of castor oil. It has very good compatibility with natural waxes. It is mostly used in the manufacture of calcium and lithium lubricating greases. These lubricating greases exhibit excellent resistance to oils and fats, water and solvents. It is also used as raw materi-al for solvent based coating systems, for alkyd resins and as processing aid for phenolic resins, poly-ethylene, PVC and rubber and as an additive in powder coatings. It is also of importance concerning the production of hot melts like paper additives. Finally it can be used as an ingredient in polishes (for cars, shoes, furniture) and in cosmetics (for creams, lipsticks,…).

Mosselman Peanut Oil Refined - Feed Grade (8002-03-7) is obtained from the kernels of the plant “Arachis hypogaea”.

Mosselman Tall Oil Fatty Acids 25/30 (8002-26-4) oil is a by-product in the production of wood pulp by the Kraft process. The “black liquor” which is obtained in the purification of the wood pulp which contains the sodium soap of the tall oil fatty acids and rosin acids. By acidification a mixture of fatty acids and rosin acids is obtained. By further distillation the fatty acids and the rosin acids are separated.

Mosselman Petroleum Jelly White (8009-03-8) Petroleum jelly is a semisolid mixture of hydrocarbons having a melting point of abt. 50°C. Petroleum jelly is mostly used in the pharmaceutical- and cosmetic industry and as a protective coating for metallic surfaces.

Mosselman Rapeseed Oil Refined Organic (8002-13-9) is obtained mainly from the seeds of the plants Brassica naprus and Brassica campestris.

Mosselman Jojoba Oil Golden (90045-98-0) is a cold pressed oil derived from the desert shrub “Simmondsia chinensis” or “Desert Gold”. Unlike other vegetable oils, jojoba oil is not a triglyceride but a liquid wax composed of unsaturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty alcohols.

Mosselman PEG 400 Monooleate P (9004-96-0) Polyethyleneglycol esters are the products obtained by the esterification of polyethyleneglycols with natural fatty acids. Depending the molecular weight of the polyethyleneglycol used and the mono- and diesters content, non-ionic esters with different HLB values are obtained. Polyethyleneglycol es-ters are mainly used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsions. They find also application in lubricants, textiles, pesticides etc.

Mosselman Castor Oil First Pression 500ppm Water Max (8001-79-4) is the vegetable oil obtained from the seed of the castor tree “Ricinus communis” It contains a major amount of a hydroxy acid. Unlike other vegetable oils, it is soluble in alcohol. This “low water content” grade is suited for polyurethane systems.
