Mosselman Sorbitan Monooleate 10 EO (9005-65-6) are obtained by the ethoxylation of sorbitan esters. They are more hydro-philic than the sorbtanesters itself and are used as non-ionic surfactants and solubilizers for water insoluble active products and essential oils. In combination with the non-ethoxylated sorbitanesters, they can be used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsion. Ethoxylated sorbitanesters find applications in cosmetics, detergents, lubricants, textile auxiliaries agrochemicals, etc.

Mosselman Hempseed Oil Refined (89958-21-4) is an oil with characteristic flavor and typical green color. Hempseed oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is obtained from low THC seeds of Cannabis sativa. Hempseed is taking benefit of positive image thank to the fact that this crop needs little input of pesticides and appears to be quite environ- mental friendly.

Mosselman Sorbitan Monolaurate (1338-39-2) are non-ionic emulsifiers obtained by the esterification of dehydrated sorbitol with fatty acids. These esters are mostly water in oil emulsifiers, but they can also act as oil in water emulsifiers when they are used in combination with the ethoxylated sorbitan esters. Sorbitan esters are used in cosmetics, lubricants, textiles etc.

Mosselman Olein O (67701-08-0) is the most important unsaturated fatty acid present in almost all natural fats and oils. It is used as soap base, as polishing compound, in lubricants, in flotation, as surface coating and as intermediate.

Mosselman Soybean Lecithin Liquid SB (8002-43-5) is the most important by-product of the edible oil processing industry. Lecithin is obtained from the oil by hydratation of the phosphatides by water, followed by recover by centrifuge and drying. Crude soyabean lecithin is the most principal source of crude lecithin. Soyalecithin is a complex mixture of phosphatides, phytoglycolipids, phytosterols, tocopherols, tri-glycerides and fatty acids.

Mosselman White Oil Light (8042-47-5) find application in plastics as internal lubricants and plasticizer, in the textile industry as lubricant and coating agent, in the rubber industry as extender oils, in the agriculture as spraying oil and in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Mosselman Amide KDK is derived from a 2 : 1 molar reaction of diethanolamine and coconut fatty acids. They contain approximately 70 % amide dissolved in unreacted dietahnolamine and fatty acid soap. The soap acts as an auxilary surfactant which contributes to water solubility and thickening properties. Amide KDK is an exellent detergent and emulsifier and shows good water solubility and exellent detergency.

Mosselman Borage Oil Refined (225234-12-8) its name comes from Celt ‘Borrach’ which means ‘courage’. It is used for sensible care and eczema treatment.

Mosselman Sweet Almond Oil Refined (8007-69-0) is the oil obtained from the dried kernels of the almond tree “Prunus amygdalis”. Almond oil is preeminently used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Mosselman Isopropyl Palmitate EP 10 (142-91-6) is a water-clear, low viscous oily liquid with a very good spreading capacity on the skin. Isopropyl palmitate is mainly used in cosmetics as an oil component for emulsions, bath oils and as a solvent for active substances.

Mosselman Linseed Oil Refined (8001-26-1) is obtained from the seed of the plant “Linum usitatissium”. This oil is mainly used in the manufacture of paints, linoleum, varnishes and printing inks.

Mosselman Carbomer 980 (9003-01-4) is a polyvinyl carboxy polymer used as a viscosity enhancer gelling agent. Carbomer 980 is cross linked with ethers of pentaerythritol. It is used primarily in systems where sparkling clarity or a sharp viscosity response is required.

Mosselman PEG 600 Monooleate N (9004-96-0) Polyethyleneglycol esters are the products obtained by the esterification of polyethyleneglycols with natural fatty acids. Depending the molecular weight of the polyethyleneglycol used and the mono- and diesters content, non-ionic esters with different HLB values are obtained. Polyethyleneglycol esters are mainly used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsions. They find also application in cosmetics, lubricants, textiles, pesticides etc.

Mosselman Perhydrosqualene (111-01-3) also known as squalane is a unique hydrocarbon. The commercially available product is a colorless, tasteless and inert oily liquid. Squalane is a natural emollient which imparts to the skin a suppleness without an unpleasant greasy feel. It is mostly used in pharmaceuticals and cosmetic preparations.

Mosselman Beeswax White EP 10 (8012-89-3) is an Off-white wax. translucent when thin. with a fine-grained. matt and non-crystalline fracture; when warmed in the hand it becomes soft and malleable. It has an odor similar to that of yelow beeswax. though fainter and never rancid; It is tasteless and does not stick to the teeth.

Mosselman Cocoa Butter White USP (8002-31-1) is a pale yellow solid of the cocoa bean. It is ob-tained from the tropical plant “Theobroma cacao”. This fat is preeminently suitable for confection coatings. It is mainly used in cosmetics because of its total bio-conformity with skin and its content in Vitamin E. It is used for skin and hair care, aromatherapy and in treatments against eczema.
