The risk of resistance development against this active substance is low in long treatment periods in farms. The β-Lactam group are antimicrobials used in veterinary medicine, the risk for public health is currently estimated as limited.
- Test Data
Deaths caused by streptococcal meningitis. Tests conducted on two farms (A: 2000 and B: 500 animals), managing Fenoxipen V to 2 kg/t of feed to pigs between 4 and 11 weeks.
Resuls: Mortality reduction of 92% (group A) and 93% (group B).
