- Principle
A source of vitamins and trace elements and inorganic nitrogen to avoid fermentation problems such as long lag phase, high pH, sticking fermentations and poor fining performance.
- Application And Rates Of Use
This product can be mixed into the yeast slurry about 30 minutes before pitching. Alternatively, mix with a small volume of wort and add to the fermenter. This product can also be added to the kettle at the end of the boil. Alcotene Special should be added at a rate of 0.85g to 3.5 g per hl of wort. With regular use, low rates can be effective in maintaining good yeast health and guarding against deficiencies. Over use can result in over-vigorous fermentations.
