Storage & Handling

Storage & Handling

The product becomes highly viscous and / or solidifies at low temperatures and therefore must be protected against frost. It is recommended to store and process the product at temperatures > 20ºC to avoid a decrease in its flow ability.

Temperatures higher than 50ºC, particularly over a prolonged period, can lead to hydrolysis with the corresponding increase in acidity. In any case, pH values above 4.0 should not affect the quality of the product.

Preservation

The product does not contain a preservative as it is relatively resistant to microbial contamination due to the high concentration of the product.
