x-bond® T 9027 is a condensed silane in alcohol based binder. Exhibits high temperature stability, good abrasion and corrosion resistance. It is a transparent, inorganic-organic sol-gel material which catalyzes the degradation of organic compounds at high temperatures. It is free of fluorine and other halogens. Applications in temperature stable easy-to-clean coatings and paint coatings. Typical substrates are stainless steel, aluminum, glass or ceramic. Also suitable for surfaces in food contact. Suited for formulation of spray, dip and brush-on paints as well as for coatings used in roller application.
