- Processing Notes
Pigmenting can be done in the normal way by mixing the pigments and extenders with the usual additives and water in a paste. Addition of a dispersing agent in small amounts in combination with sodium hexametaphosphate or tripolyphosphate is strongly recommended. The polymer dispersion should be added only after the required degree of grinding has been achieved. Incorporation of good coalescent solvents like Texanol (Eastman) will yield better results in film washability.
