- The seeds of this incredible start shaped fruit produce a moisturizing and versatile oil that is one of the highest yielding plant-based sources of Omega 3, 6 and 9. Sacha Inchi Oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the Plukenetia Volubilis bush. The plant is native to the tropical areas of South America and the Caribbean and has been used for centuries as a superfood and is now being noticed for its versatile qualities as a carrier oil and an extraordinary ingredient in the cosmetic industry. Rich in vitamins, antioxidants and fatty acids with a light herbaceous aroma, this exotic oil is fantastic in skin care, body care, hair care, hand and nail care and wound healing products. It is moisturizing and soothing with anti-inflammatory properties, having over 90% of its composition being made of Omega fatty acids.

Skin Care: Sacha Inchi Oil is highly moisturizing. Being so rich in Omega3, 6 and 9 and high in antioxidants makes it very hydrating and ideal in formulations aimed at dry or mature skin. It is also very soothing with anti-inflammatory properties, making it great in products for irritated or sensitive skin. The high ration of fatty acids also help in protecting the skins moisture barrier.
Wound Healing: The anti-inflammatory properties and high ration of fatty acids make this oil a valued ingredient in products aimed at wound healing and skin repair.
Hair Care: This highly moisturizing oil helps promote hair growth and increase shine. It is great in hair products. It is calming for irritated scalps.
Nail and Hand Care: Being highly moisturizing and soothing, Sacha Inchi oil is a great addition to hand and nail care products.
