Conventional or organic available Eucalyptus olida, also known as the Strawberry Gum, is a medium-sized tree to 20 m, restricted tosclerophyll woodlands on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, in Eastern Australia. The bark is fibrous in mature trees. Flowers are cream colored and are followed by small woody capsules. The juvenile leaves are ovate (7 cm long) and dull green. Adult leaves are lanceolate and glossy green (to 17 cm). The leaves are intensely aromatic and are used as a bushfood spice. E.olida is classified as a threatened species in the wild, but is becoming more common in cultivation due to itsessential oil and spice qualities. E. olida leaf is also used as a dried spice product in bushfood cooking, especially with fruit and in herbal teas. It has high anti-oxidant activity. Conventional or organic available The Clementine is a citrus hybrid of mandarin and sweet orange. Clementine Essential Oil is extracted from fruit peel. Oil content in peel varies from 0.3 to 0.9%. Like other citrus oils, Clementine is rich in the cleansing chemical component Limonene. In Ancient times Clementines were referred to as the “crown jewel” of the Mandarin family. The clergyman Pierre Clement is credited with crossing a Mandarin and an Orange. This coupling resulted in a seedless mandarin with loose skin and a smooth and shiny appearance. Clementine is another variety of mandarin like Tangerine. It is sweet and easy to peel. It is grown commercially in Algeria, China, Spain, Turkey, Morocco, Brazil, Egypt, the United States, Iran and Argentina.

Conventional or organic available Moringa oil comes from the seeds of the Moringa oliefera, a plant native to the foothills of the Himalayas. An adaptive plant, it is now grown throughout India, Egypt, Africa, Pakistan, Jamaica, Cuba and Hawaii. The plant itself is very drought-resistant plant — which means even without rain, moringa trees keep going strong and survive dry condition. The seeds of a moringa tree have a high oil content, are very nutrient-rich, and are packed with antioxidants. It is a dense light colored oil with an earthy, slightly nutty odor. It has a high levels of fatty acids and nutrients. Because of its almost long list of benefits for the hair, skin, and body, Moringa oil is a popular ingredient in cosmetics and dermatology.

Conventional or certified organic available Marula oil is derived from the Sclerocaya birreabotanicals, better known as the Marula Tree. The Marula Tree which is found in the woodland areas of Southern parts of Africa grows up to 18m tall. The oil is clear, pale, yellow-brown in color and has a pleasant nutty aroma. It is medium rich and silky to the touch. Marula oil contains antioxidants, vitamin C and E, and Omega-9 fatty acids. The generic name (Sclerocarya) is believed to have come from Greek (Sclerocarya) for hard (skleros) and nut (karyon). The Oil is expressed from the sundried nuts from the Yellow fruit of the Marula Tree which is available from December through to April. Marula Oil is rich in oleic acid giving it a very good oxidative stability making it ideal for anti-aging products. It is also highly moisturizing for the skin and hair and is easily absorbed. The fruits of the marula tree are used to make marula beer and a liqueur called Amarula. In South Africa, the tree is protected by law so it is a common sight to see a free-standing tree in a cultivated field. Traditional marriages take place under a Marula Fruit Tree as it is considered a symbol of fertility and a good omen.

Conventional or certified organic available Kukui Nut Oil also known as Candlenut Tree Oil or Kekuna Tree Oil has traditionally been used as a natural moisturizer for centuries in Hawaii. It is cold pressed from the large nuts of the Kukui Nut Tree scientifically called Aleurites moluccanus. Most commonly used as a massage oil it is best used in anti-aging products for it natural antioxidants and minerals For thousands of years, the indigenous people of Hawaii have used this oil in religious ceremonies, paints, varnishes and even candle-making. However, it has become known to the wider world because of its impressive topical benefits to the skin and hair, as well as the immune system and muscles.

Conventional or organic available Varieties Available: Cinnamon Bark Oil and Cinnamon Leaf Oil Cinnamon is thought to be one of the world’s oldest and most valuable spices. It has been used for thousands of years, and features prominently in Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. Cinnamon is derived from a tropical, evergreen tree that can grow over 12 meters tall. Cinnamon oil has a very distinct, fresh aroma and contains primarily cinnamaldehyde and eugenol, which give both varieties their distinct aroma and their antifungal, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. The leaf oil is easier to produce, as the leaves are easier to distill and extract the oil from and have a higher yield than the bark. Avoid use on sensitive skins. Pregnant women should avoid the use of this oil.

Hops may be best known for its use in the production of beer, but Hops Oil is a beautiful essential oil with multiple benefits and is a valued ingredient in the cosmetic industry. The Hops plant is a climbing perennial, most commonly grown in Europe. It was used extensively in traditional healing practices such as Chinese herbal medicine and Ayurveda. The oil is steam distilled from the flowers and cones. With a golden yellow to greenish color, and a rich, slightly spicy aroma, this oil is a valued addition to a myriad of products for its soothing, sedative, ant-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

Conventional or organic available Thyme oil is typically acquired from the leaves and flowers of Thymus vulgaris via a steam distillation process. The first distillation produces red thyme essential oil, which is a heady, dark oil with a spicy scent. Red thyme oil is often used as a middle note in perfumery. White thyme essential oil is a further distillation of the red thyme. This second distillation process results in a gold to pale yellow oil. This is the most commonly used form of thyme oil. It’s simply referred to as thyme oil or white thyme oil.

Conventional or organic available Blue Tansy oil is steam distilled from the yellow flowers buds and aerial parts of the Tanacetum Annuum, a herb native to the Mediterranean. The oil has a high content of chamazulene which gives it its rich blue color. This oil belongs to the same family as the chamomiles and is sometimes referred to as Moroccan Blue Chamomile. Such was its popularity, it was almost harvested out of existence, but has been revived and is being grown in places such as Morocco where it is now thriving. It is a calming oil, with antifungal, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Conventional or organic available Hazelnut oil comes from the nuts of the Hazel tree, the botanical name of which is Corylus americana. Originally native to Europe, it is now grown extensively across the world including America. The nut is a delicacy that is often used in cooking, combined with chocolate. Hazelnut Oil has many benefits as it is considered valuable for facial and body massages. It has a high content of essential fatty acids like linoleic acid. Hazelnut is high in Vitamin E and also contains decent amounts of vitamin B6, folate, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. Hazelnut oil has a very light, pleasing sweet aroma, which is also somewhat nutty. It is slightly heavier than other carrier oils, and is highly moisturizing

Most people will know Manuka for its honey, but the plant also produces a beautiful essential oil. With a fresh, herbaceous, crisp aroma, Manuka oil has been used for centuries to ease muscular aches and pains, to soothe and moisturize skin, and promote healing. Leptospermum scoparium is a fast growing, small tree is native to New Zealand and parts of Australia. The oil is produced by steam distillation of the leaves and small branches. This versatile oil is a powerhouse, with antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory properties among others, with a subtle, calming scent. Manuka oil is a valued ingredient in a wide variety of products including skincare, wound care, hair care and body care, plus products targeting skin irritations and fungal issues. Rosalina trees (Melaleuca ericifolia) are a small tree 3 to 8 meters high with a bushy crown and a papery bark, they produce a white flower in abundance in late spring. Commonly known as swamp paperbark and sometimes referred to as Lavender Tea Tree, this plant is native to Australia and grows primarily in coastal regions where it is able to withstand permanently wet soil, salty conditions, and shade. Rosalina trees are found in swamps and wetlands and beside streams from Port Macquarie, in mid north New South Wales to Tasmania. A fresh, lovely floral note of Lavender with a mild Eucalyptus and Tea Tree note, this oil is very calming. Rosalina oil is extracted from the leaves and branchlets of the small tree or bush by traditional steam distillation.

The Rose comes originally from Asia Minor, it is cultivated mostly in Bulgaria, Iran and India. The Rose was valued by the Arab physician Avicenna (AD 980-1037), during the Middle Ages and during the Renaissance as a remedy for depression. One of the most prized aromatherapy oils, it takes up to 30 roses to produce just one drop of Rose oil. Rose has a beautiful, strong floral and sweet fragrance that is intoxicating and highly romantic. It's said to help bring balance and harmony with stimulating and uplifting properties that create a sense of well-being and self-confidence. It has been used for skincare for thousands of years Rose Oil Rosa damascena is known as the Queen of Oils, Rose oil is highly sought after for its aroma and powerful topical and emotional benefits. The blooming floral aroma is comforting and Rose oil, used topically, helps promote healthy-looking skin.

Conventional or organic available Lime is indigenous to Southeast Asia, in the Indo-Malaya. The plant was introduced into Asia and Egypt by the merchants of the Middle East in the tenth century. From Saudi Arabia, it was introduced to Africa and reached Europe through the Spanish invaders, in the thirteenth century Christopher Columbus took Limes to America. The British Sailors used Lime to prevent Scurvy. The Early Settlers introduced Lime to Australia in the 19th Century. Lime oil is extracted from the fresh fruit peel by cold expression. Blends well with Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Geranium, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Neroli, Sweet Orange, Rosemary, Rosewood, Tangerine and Ylang-Ylang.

This precious absolute is made by solvent extraction of the flowers of the Hyacinthus orientalis, a small, herbaceous perennial plant, that flowers in early spring. The bell shaped flowers can be pink, purple to white and the plant is primarily native to the Mediterranean region and tropical Africa. The absolute is extremely precious due to the limited cultivation window of the flowers, and the low yield per flower. Hyacinth Absolute is a valuable ingredient in the perfume industry, and as a fragrant component in products. This refreshing and invigorating absolute also has antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory properties and is considered calming, balancing and comforting.

Conventional or organic available Lemon Scented Tea Tree is a tall evergreen shrub to small tree, growing to a maximum of 5 meters that is fast growing and drought hardy. It naturally occurs near sclerophyll forest or rainforest, on sandy or rocky escarpments, on the east coast of Australia. It has simple leaves, 20–40 mm long, with a distinctive lemony aroma. The flowers are white, followed by woody capsules. Lemon Scented Tea Tree Oil has medicinal properties similar to Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) as an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and antiseptic. Its high citral content gives it a nice lemon scent. It also contains Citronellal, Citronellol and Geraniol making it an effective insect repellant. Its potency and pleasant scent makes this native plant a great essential oil in aromatherapy. But because of its high potency, only tiny amounts are necessary. The oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs and is a clear colorless to yellow liquid .

Conventional or certified organic available Black Seed Oil (Nigella sativa) is also known as Black Cumin, Kalonji, Nigella, Black Coriander, Onion Seed and Roman Coriander. Nigella sativa is a small flowering shrub with purple or white-tinged flowers that grows in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and western Asia. While it may look unsuspecting, the shrub produces fruits that have tiny black seeds. These black seeds have been used in remedies for thousands of years. Archeologists even found black seeds in King Tut’s tomb, emphasizing their importance in history for healing and protection. Black Seeds are also used in cooking to add flavor to breads, curries, and pickles. When eaten, the seeds have a bitter flavor that’s often compared to cumin or oregano. Black seed oil has been shown to have antioxidant properties that can help relieve inflammation inside the body and on the skin.

The blood orange is an intriguing variety of sweet orange that shares the same botanical name, Citrus sinensis. The blood orange is named as such because its fruit segments are blood red in color. Aromatically, both Sweet Orange Essential Oil and Blood Orange Oil are similar. However, Blood Orange Essential Oil is a bit more tantalizing, bright and tart. As the aromatic and therapeutic properties are similar, Blood Orange Essential Oil can be used in place of Sweet Orange Oil in both aromatic and therapeutic blends. The distinct dark flesh of the Blood Oranges us due to the plentiful presence of a certain kind of antioxidant pigment called anthocyanins.

There are two different varieties of chamomile you may come across; Roman chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile or Anthemis nobilis) and German chamomile (Matricaria recutita or Chamomilla recutita) The two plants are slightly different in appearance. In addition, the chemical composition of their active ingredients differs slightly. Research has been done on both strains and the active ingredient most researched is chamazulene which is higher in German chamomile. German Chamomile (Matricaria recutica) is native to central and northern Europe. The herb usually grows near populated areas; it is annual, strongly aromatic, and has tall, hairless, erect, branching stems, with delicate feathery leaves and simple daisy-like white flowers on single stems. The flowers are smaller than those of Roman Chamomile. Matricaria Recutita Flower Oil is the essential oil distilled from the flowers of the plant which are dried prior to distillation. Although commonly known as 'German Chamomile Oil' it is in fact not grown in Germany, but in years past, large volumes grown in Hungary were sent to Germany for distillation.

Camellia Seed Oil, also known as Tea Oil, is a light, rapidly absorbing oil that is pressed from the seeds of Camellia sinensis or Camellia oleifera, the same trees that render the leaves used for green, white and black tea. Camellia Seed Oil is primarily monounsaturated and is said to be rich in anti-oxidants including Vitamin E. Camellia was originally cultivated in Japan and China and later with time, the world started recognizing its benefits. In Japan, camellia has over 900 names. Back then, the leaves of this plant were also very helpful in making tea and it was also a very important culture of China and Japan. The leaves of this plant were also used to make Britain's 'national beverage' tea. Camellia seed oil has some varieties like, camellia sinensis oil, Camellia japonica oil, camellia oleifera oil. All these oils have different names and also different chemical compositions. Camellia seed carrier oil has huge commercial value in China and is used by more than half of the population of China. Camellia seed oil is also very rich in nutrients. It is among the few oils which have nutrients other than fatty acids. When it comes to health, this oil is often compared with olive oil as it has a very similar composition, comprising, unsaturated fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acids and polyunsaturated acids.

Conventional or organic available Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) , also known as goat nut, deer nut, pignut, wild hazel, quinine nut, coffeeberry, and gray box bush, is native to South-western North America. The plant came to prominence in the late 1970s when scientists found that the liquid wax from the jojoba bean has a strikingly similar structure to the natural wax esters in human skin. The CSIRO introduced the plant to Australia in 1978 and selectively bred certain varieties especially suited to Australian conditions. Commercial plantations are now established across the country, including at Kalannie, Wagin, Geraldton and York in Western Australia. A shrubby bush which usually grows between 3-6 feet, though occasionally taller, the leaves are up to 1 ½” long, thick with a waxy gray-green coloration. The flowers are small with a green-yellow color and contain no petals. The plant is usually dioecious, either male or female, with both sexes needed to produce the fruit. Occasionally there are hermaphrodite plants but this is rare. The plants can live between 100-200 years. While often solitary in growth, jojoba’s can produce ground based shoots and form into thickets.

Frankincense Carterii Oil also called Olibanum Oil is the name given to the (Boswellia carterii) variety of Frankincense which is native to and most commonly grown wild in Somalia. Frankincense Carterii Oil (Boswellia carterii) is made from natural, wild, old-growth tree resin and is considered the most valuable and highly prized form of Frankincense oil due to its richness and high levels of therapeutic constituents, over two hundred molecular compounds. It has been an important source of incense in many Middle Eastern and African countries for centuries. It is high in alpha-pinene and other monoterpenes. The aroma of Frankincense Carterii is what most people are familiar with, it has a sweet smooth, relaxing and uplifting aroma and has many therapeutic properties. Indian Frankincense (Boswellia serrata), also highly valued for its different benefits, is produced on a larger scale and is more affordable than (Boswellia carterii) Oil. The Oman/Yemen variety is called (Boswellia sacra).

Conventional or organic available The Almond tree (Prunus dulcis) is a member of the Rosaceae (rose) family, along with many other tree fruits such as peaches, apples, pears, plums, cherries, and apricots. The almond is a small bushy deciduous tree with beautiful pink blossoms and highly prized edible nuts enclosed in a hard green hull. It’s a small to medium sized tree with a spreading, open canopy, usually 10-15 feet in commercial orchards. It is an excellent, self-pollinating almond that bears heavy crops of soft-shelled almonds with a good, sweet flavor. The kernels are broad, full and oval in shape. The tree has an upright form that is a self-pollinating papershell. Almonds require a climate with dry summer/autumns and cool winters. Almond and related species are native to the Mediterranean climate region of the Middle East. The original plantings and beginning of the almond industry in Australia occurred in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. The industry expanded into the South Australian Riverland in the 1960s and then along the Murray River in the 1970s. The Australian almond industry is concentrated in NSW, SA and Victoria with almost 29,000 ha of cultivated almond trees.

It is often considered a must-have oil to keep on hand at all times due to its versatile uses. Lavandula (common name lavender) is a genus of 39 known species of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae. It is native to the Old World and is found from Cape Verde and the Canary Islands, southern Europe across to northern and eastern Africa, the Mediterranean, southwest Asia to southeast India. Many members of the genus are cultivated extensively in temperate climates as ornamental plants for garden and landscape,culinary herbs, and also commercially for the extraction of essential oils. The most widely cultivated species, Lavandula angustifolia is often referred to as lavender, and there is a ‘color’ named for the shade of the flowers of this species. Lavender oil is extracted mostly from the flowers of the lavender plant, primarily through steam distillation. The flowers of lavender are fragrant in nature and have been used for making potpourri for centuries. Traditionally, lavender essential oil has also been used in making perfumes. The oil is very useful in aromatherapy and many aromatic preparations and combinations are made using lavender oil.

Balsam is the resinous exudate (or sap) which forms on certain kinds of trees and shrubs. Balsam (from Latin balsamum gum of the balsam tree, ultimately from Semitic, Aramaic busma, Arabic balsam and Hebrew basam, spice, perfume) owes its name to the biblical Balm of Gilead. Copaiba Oleoresin is a unique, gentle oil that is tree tapped from the Balsam of the Copaiba tree to produce a pure, undiluted oleoresin with absolutely no additives or fillers. Copaiba Balsam resin is extracted from the wild trees which are found mainly in the South American rain forests – particularly in Brazil, Columbia, Peru and Venezuela. It is the further refined to produce the oil. The trees have large branches and can grow up to 18 to 30 meters in height. The resin is harvested by tapping or drilling holes into the trunk of the tree much like tapping maple for syrup. Although this resin is often referred to as balsam, it is not a true balsam but an oleoresin. A single Copaiba tree can provide about 40 liters of oleoresin annually, making it a sustainable rain forest resource that can be harvested without destroying the tree or the forest in which it grows. When tapped, the initial oily resin is clear, thin, and colorless; it thickens and darkens upon contact with air. Commercially sold resins are a thick liquid, with a color that varies from pale yellow to golden light brown. The variety gathered in Venezuela is said to be thicker and darker in color.

Conventional or organic available Red Thyme traditionally grows in the southern most regions of Spain. It’s a small aromatic herb from the mint family mostly used for culinary purposes. Harvesting takes place during the summer months, between late June and August. Thyme Red Thymus vulgaris has been cultivated by humans as long as records have been kept. The history of Thyme dates back to Ancient Egyptian times where it was used for embalming practices. Greeks and Romans also valued Thyme as a herb for flavoring food, as incense, for cleansing rooms and considered the dry herbs to be a source of courage. Thyme has been embraced for its culinary uses in modern history and a staple in most herb gardens and kitchens around the world.

Tasmannia lanceolata (syn. Drimys lanceolata), commonly known as the mountain pepper is a shrub native to woodlands and cool temperate rainforest of south-eastern Australia and the mountains of Tasmania. The shrub varies from 2 to 10 m high. This attractive tree has shiny dark green pointed leaves with scarlet stemletts. It has small, waxy, cream flowers which develop into dark charcoal brown pepper berries, only born by the female plants. The small cream or white flowers appear in summer and are followed by black, globose, two-lobed berries 5–8 mm wide, which appear in autumn. There are separate male and female plants. The oil is steam distilled from the fruit of the tree and has an intense peppery background aroma, with spicy, exotic top notes, a hint of cinnamon and the Australian bush.

Conventional or organic available Eucalyptus smithii, or gully gum, is a native tree of northern Victoria and southern New South Wales, Australia. It naturally occurs on the lower slopes, gullies, and swamps, where soil does not dry out. The species is widely grown in southern Africa, and its leaves are used for the production of distilled eucalyptus oil. The essential oil is steam-distilled from the twigs and leaves and has a woody, camphorous, yet fresh aroma. Eucalyptus Smithii is the mildest Eucalyptus oil and is the preferred choice for use with children or the elderly or when prolonged use is required. Australian aboriginals use oil-containing eucalyptus leaf infusions as a traditional medication for body pains, fever, sinus congestions, and colds. As early as the 1880s, surgeons were already using eucalyptus oil as an antiseptic during operations. Toward the end of the century, the oil was used in most hospitals in England to clean urinary catheters. Conventional or organic available Turmeric (Curcuma longa), also known as Indian Saffron and Indian Yellow Root, is a perennial tropical herb belonging to the ginger (Zingiberaceae) family. Native to India and Southeast Asia this golden spice has been used for thousands of years for culinary, religious and medicinal purposes. It is a staple ingredient in Asian and Middle Eastern cooking and has long been used in Ayurvedic, Siddha and Traditional Chinese Medicine for treating a wide range of ailments. Turmeric essential oil is steam distilled from the ‘cured’ roots (rhizomes). It is yellow in color and has a distinctive, spicy, smoky, woody aroma. Turmeric was used in the ancient Ayurveda and Unani medicine system to treat a large number of health-related problems such as indigestion, common cold, liver ailments, etc. It was also applied to wounds and cuts as it comprises antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

Conventional or organic available A balancing and grounding oil, this oil is produced by the steam distillation of the dried seeds of the common carrot. The oil is a yellow or amber color to pale orange/brown and has a woodsy, earthy fragrance. A nourishing oil, it is rich in beta carotene, Vitamins A and E and pro-vitamin A - it is a popular oil, particularly in the realm of skincare.

A highly valued carrier oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil is made by cold pressing the seeds of the pomegranate fruit. It boasts powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-microbial properties and is rich in essential fatty acids and Vitamin E. Originally cultivated around Iran and India, the fruit was brought to Egypt and revered by the Egyptians as early as 1600BC as an important food source and for its medicinal properties. It is now widely grown around the Mediterranean and the Middle East. This oil is red to yellow/golden color with a distinct subtle smell. Conventional or organic available Myrrh is a small tree/shrub with knotted branches, aromatic leaves, and white flowers. Myrrh essential oil is steam distilled from the harvested resin of the tree. The myrrh tree is native to Arabia, northern Africa, South Western Asia and the region around the Red Sea, especially Ethiopia, Somalia and Yemen. Historians believe that myrrh grew in the Tigris and Euphrates valleys, now thought to be the site of the biblical Garden of Eden. Today, most Myrrh is obtained from the Middle East, particularly Iran. Myrrh essential oil is considered a precious oil and has been treasured by almost every civilisation for over four thousand years. Myrrh was used in embalming by the Egyptians and has a long history of use in both traditional Chinese medicine and Indian Ayurvedic practices. In Christianity, Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh were the gifts given to the baby Jesus by the three wise men. Myrrh Essential Oil is used most often for spiritual and incense applications, and it is heralded for its contribution to oral health. Conventional or organic available There are several varieties of cedarwood oils. Cedarwood Atlas Oil is a pale yellow to orange/yellow or deep amber/brown in color, with an unusual, slightly camphorous aroma with woody undertones. The oil is obtained by the steam distillation of the wood, with the higher quality oils usually coming from older trees. Cedarwood Atlas is a slow-growing, coniferous evergreen, reaching heights of 33 meters or more that grows mainly in Morocco, North Africa and India. The diameter of the trunks can reach over 1.5 meters. Cedarwood Atlas was believed to have been used extensively by the Egyptians in cosmetics, embalming, perfume and medicine. It is a rich, versatile oil, with a calming aroma.

Conventional or organic available Frankincense Serrata (Boswellia serrata) oil commonly known as Indian Frankincense is steam distilled from tree resin and known for its use in Ayurvedic medicine. The word Frankincense comes from the term “franc encens,” which means quality incense in old French. Frankincense oleo-gum-resin is tapped from Boswellia trees by carefully making a small incision in the bark and allowing the exuded milky resins to harden. Tapping is done 2 to 3 times a year with the final taps producing the best resin, due to its higher aromatic terpenes, sesquiterpenes and diterpenes content. The Frankincense tree grows as a short shrub, to about 3-7 meters (10-23 feet) with an abundance of leaves and blossoms with white or pale pink flowers. F. Serrata is different from F. Carterii with a different odor and leaf, as the name Serrata refers to its serrated leaf. Its natural location is in India through to Pakistan and has been used as incense traditionally. Due to India's higher production volumes of Indian Frankincense Oil (Boswellia serrata), this oil has a more affordable price point compared to different varieties like Somali and Oman/Yemen Frankincense Oils, different varieties called (Boswellia carterii) and (Boswellia sacra).
