Nielsen Citrus Product Company, Inc. is run and operated by the Nielsen family. It was established and founded by Bert W. Nielsen in 1953. As a citrus chemist and bacteriologist, Bert invented the Nielsen product line including Nielsen’s Froz’n Lemon, Nielsen’s Froz’n Lime, Nielsen’s Froz’n Lemon Puree, Nielsen’s Froz’n Lime Puree, and Nielsen’s Froz’n Orange Puree. With warehouses in Boston, Chicago, Jersey City, Phoenix and Miami, it now distributes these products throughout the United States and around the world, mainly serving food distributors and manufacturers. In 1993, Nielsen Citrus acquired SunTree Products which packages lemon juice and lime juice into squeeze bottles, 12-32 oz bottles and 4-1-gallon containers. With this acquisition, Nielsen Citrus is able to provide shelf stable lemon and lime juice in a variety of packages to retail, food service, food manufacturers and in private label. The California Wedge is a new design with our same great product that the customer has known since the 1950’s.

Nielsen Citrus SunTree Lime Juice is a reconstituted juice that is an excellent product for restaurants, bars and food processors. It comes packaged in 32 ounce PET bottles and one gallon plastic jugs. The composition of the plastic bottles reduces shipping weight and there is no breakage.

Nielsen Citrus Nielsen’s Bakers Lime Puree is a blend of Key Lime juice concentrate, Persian Lime Juice Concentrate, and cold-pressed lime oil (from the peel). Used in baked goods, marinades, sauces, etc. for food manufacturing. No Preservatives. Frozen for freshness. No sugars, sweeteners, or citric acid added.

Nielsen Citrus Nielsen’s Froz’n Sweet-Sour Concentrate-Sweetened With cane sugar is a frozen product and has an extremely fresh natural flavor. It is a blend of frozen lemon juice concentrate, pure cane sugar and fresh lemon essence from fruit’s peel. The fresh flavor is especially apparent when compared with any other sweet-sour bar mix, concentrate, or powder, and we encourage taste comparison tests.

Nielsen Citrus Nielsen’s Froz’n Lime Conc. is made from the juice of fresh whole lemons. The lemon juice is extracted from the fresh lemons and concentrated under low temperatures and high vacuum, and blended with chilled fresh pulpy juice. The product is then quickly filled and frozen to 0°F (-18°C). This is the closest to freshly squeezed lemon juice and may be used as such.

Nielsen Citrus Mexican or Key Lime Juice is a frozen cloud stable and preserved with 0.1% sodium benzoate (not a sulfite). It is ready to use as an ingredient for numerous applications where lime juice is used. One tub is equivalent to a #10 can RTU lime juice.

Nielsen Citrus 4 oz. California Wedge Lime is a fresh new take on our classic product. This produce item has been in the marketplace since the 1950’s. SunTree is one of most recognizable brands of shelf stable lemon. It’s available year-round with our always consistent and competitive pricing. Our reconstituted lemon juices are produced in a 4 and 7 ounce plastic squeeze bottles with tamper-proof and sealed caps. We do not add any citric acid to any or our products. We produce 100% lemon juice.
