Technical Details & Test Data
- Curing
NM Tooling 179 has a very low reactivity which means that the heat progress during the curing can be kept on a low level. The slow curing means that the air mixed in comes out before curing.
Let it cure for 24 hours by room-temperature, then demould. Then postcure in owen. The temperature should be ramped slowly up to 120°C. The timecycle depends on the tool-size.
A tool with a weight of 2 kilograms could need a increase in temperature of approx. 0.3°C/minute.
