Alcoguard® H 5240 a hybrid bio-polymer technology for the detergents market. This polymer combines selected polysaccharides and synthetic monomers to prevent scale formation in detergent applications such as automatic dishwash or laundry detergent systems. Alcoguard® H 5240 minimizes filming and spotting in zero phosphate automatic dishwasher formulations, and functions as typical acrylate/maleate co-polymers do in laundry detergent.
