Dissolvine M-40 has an assay of min. 81 weight percent. MGDA has three carboxylic groups and, together with the central nitrogen atom, these carboxylic groups provide strong multiple bonds with divalent and trivalent metal ions. The small molecular size enables rapid action at low temperatures and short contact time. The MGDA trisodium salt is fully REACH registered. The excellent low toxicity and low ecotoxicological profile allow for non-dangerous labeling. MGDA-Na3 is listed on EPA’s Safer Chemical Ingredients List in the United States. MDGA is a strong chelate for hard water and transition metal ions. Using MGDA as an ingredient in cleaning formulations improves the descaling and cleaning capabilities. This includes whiteness and color care benefits in laundry and stain removal abilities in automatic dish washing (ADW). Since MGDA is also a strong chelating agent for heavy metal ions, such as Fe and Cu, it enhances product stability and prevents negative effects of transition metals.

AMPHOMER LV-71

AMPHOMER is an amphoteric acrylic hair fixative that offers market-leading stiffness and unprecedented high humidity curl retention properties. It is a stiff resin with unparalleled holding power for ultimate control in all temperature and humidity conditions. AMPHOMER Polymer can be applied in traditional and low VOC aerosol and pump hair sprays, and styling aids such as mousses, gels, creams, pomades, and glues where long-lasting finishing hold is desired. AMPHOMER Polymer also provides thermal protection properties (refer to US Patent 9,119,972 B2) and acts as a hair shield for hot heating implements such as flat irons and curling wands, helping to protect the hair cuticle from hair damage caused by heat.


AMPHOMER HC is a high performance film-former and hair spray fixative specifically designed for use in systems containing a large proportion of hydrocarbon propellant. It is also compatible with dimethyl ether propellant systems and can be used to produce crystal clear hair spray solutions. Films of the polymer are hard, yet flexible, resulting in formulations that have excellent long-lasting hold. AMPHOMER HC polymer provides the well-known market-leading stiffness and humidity resistance similar to AMPHOMER polymer.

Alcosperse 4961 is a film former that provides excellent humidity resistance and hold when used in anhydrous or 80% VOC hair sprays. In hair spray systems, it offers improved stiffness, durability, and long-lasting hold compared to Alcosperse polymer. In addition, the AMPHOMER 4961 polymer version provides improved compatibility with thickening agents (e.g. Carbomer) for hard holding styling gels and other styling aids.
