Antioxidant 697 is a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant and metal deactivator. Antioxidant 697 protects polymers against oxidative degradation and metal catalyzed degradation during processing and in end‐use applications. This antioxidant also provides long term thermal stabilization properties. This phenolic antioxidant is an excellent, non‐discoloring, non‐staining antioxidant and thermal stabilizer with outstanding metal deactivation properties. Typical end use applications include wire and cable insulation, film and sheet manufacture as well as automotive parts. Antioxidant 697 will stabilize polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polyester, EPDM, EVA and ABS. Low volatility ,Strong synergistic effect with phosphites, other phenols and thioesters, Non‐staining and non‐discoloring,FDA approved for adhesives and polymers.

AO 1024 possesses the double structures of hindered phenol and acyl，and afunction of anti‐oxidation and metal deactivation. This product is a kind of metal deactivator, can be used either independently or together with antioxidant. It is applicable to polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyamide, polyester, and especially to the antioxidant used in phenolic resin. It is effectively preventing the polymeric substance from self‐oxidation caused by transition metal ion (the remains of the catalyst). More efficient if it is added to the polymeric substance used in insulated electric wire and cable .The perfect melting nature makes it easily to mix withand into the substance mentioned above and other polymeric substance system without any dispersing problem. The general dosage is of 0.1‐0.5 share.

Zinc Borate is also used in wood composite as fungicide to prevent from decay fungi and subterranean termites . ZB200 grade's particle size is the smallest, it is recommended to wire and cable applications that need much fine particle size fields.
